Simpsons GAs
Hi mate, Sorry I haven't been working on Simpsons GAs recently as I have been doing other projects. I will get back to work on The Otto Show and any other episodes that you want me to do. Thanks. 03md 22:04, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
- Which articles do you think I should work on as you seem to be getting through quite a lot of Simpsons GAs. 03md 20:00, 23 September 2009 (UTC)
Swedish question
Hi Lefty, I have a small Swedish question if you don't mind: Finns det något svenskt idiom som motsvarar "please bear with me (for a few seconds)"? decltype (talk) 21:17, 13 September 2009 (UTC)
- Not quite, but thanks anyway =) To provide some more context, consider: "This may sound like a stupid question, but please bear with me ...". Or "I am going to present an argument that may sound really silly at first, but please bear with me ...". decltype (talk) 06:30, 14 September 2009 (UTC)
- Hehe, that's a nice phrase. Thanks! decltype (talk) 06:55, 14 September 2009 (UTC)

/Strausszek (talk) 14:34, 20 September 2009 (UTC)
Re: Brother
Sure, I'll take a look. :) -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 21:08, 20 September 2009 (UTC)
- Awesome. :) I don't really see it as original research, since the song is played in the episode. As well as the other songs. [1] The band who performs the song, as well as the rest, are not mentioned, but the songs do play. Maybe if we replace the cite episode with cite video? -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 02:09, 28 September 2009 (UTC)
- Yay, they both passed. Sure, like I said, no rush. :) Hey, do you think "Marry Me" has a chance at FA? -- ThinkBlue (Hit BLUE) 17:43, 30 September 2009 (UTC)

Thure de Thulstrup
It's nominated, though it could really use some expansion, if possible - it's kinda borderline in length. Can you try to expand it a bit with the sources you found? Shoemaker's Holiday Over 208 FCs served 13:02, 24 September 2009 (UTC)

Wikipedia mirrors
Hi. First, let me say how glad I am that you're still plugging away at copyvios. :D We really need you. I hope you will be well and thoroughly addicted by the time you do pick up your admin tools, as we still have such a shortage of copyvio admins.
Specifically, I'm here to discuss a special situation you encountered on Aamir Ghauri. This was tagged by CorenSearchBot, but you removed the tag as a "Wikipedia mirror." True enough; it is. But strange as it seems, this does not eliminate copyvio concerns; it just means we have to figure out how this content got placed as "new" on Wikipedia by this contributor and if he had the right to place it here. For example, did he copy or split it from an existing article? Did he salvage an article that had been deleted? Either way, unless he was the sole contributor of the earlier version, he can't place the text here without acknowledging his source as required under re-use at the copyright policy. In this particle case, the article is a WP:CSD#G4. Since I can see the contributor list, I know that it is also a copyvio, as this was not the creator of the text originally. If the previous article had been deleted by PROD, I'd be restoring the history for attribution and, if the deletion rationale seemed valid, nominating for AfD.
Back to it, but I wanted to stop and explain. These don't show up that often, but they do pop up now and again and they require a bit of sleuthing. :) If you find one and need to view the history, please feel free to pop by my talk page, and I can help figure out if there are attribution issues. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 14:24, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
I apologize for the confusion between CC-By-NC 3.0 and CC-By-SA 3.0, thanks for the correction. I have rewritten the sentences that were too close from the main source, and added other references, which helped having more accurate information. Please, can you see wether this is now acceptable ? With many thanks in advance, --Rédacteur Tibet (talk) 20:09, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
- Many thanks, I'll remember the difference. Sorry again for the trouble. All the best. --Rédacteur Tibet (talk) 20:22, 6 October 2009 (UTC)
