Lol. As I was actually reading LEAD before, I only noticed the "The lead must conform to verifiability and other policies. The verifiability policy advises that material that is challenged or likely to be challenged, and quotations, should be cited.", not the Because the lead will usually repeat information also in the body, editors should balance the desire to avoid redundant citations in the lead with the desire to aid readers in locating sources for challengeable material." bit Thanks for catching it :P Cheers. I just thought my additional information would be useful to readers who haven't been on the planet long enough to get the We Are The World reference, but I'm the source of the information, although it is agreed by blogging fans all over the internet–nothing that you would approve as a 'reliable source'. Hey, so finally, I get the first season DVD, apparently a relative had the DVD, I just forgot that they owned it. Anyways, I took some notes of some useful info., but I'm debating whether or not to include it. I don't want to mess up the copy-editing you did. So, I would rather you add it or not, but just letting you know. According to McCormack, Warren Littlefield was not excited about the first two couples, per the Development section, but wanted to learn more about both Will and Grace. Thought that would be important to jot down. Another thing, according to Mutchnick and Kohan, Will and Grace were suppose to be supporting characters, but NBC were not thrilled about who ever it was was the lead role, IDK, I kept going back to see exactly what they were saying. Also, NBC went to James Burrows to see what he thought of the subject matter and if an audience would be interested in the show. Again, I thought I should run this by you. Two Cars in Every Garage and Three Eyes on Every Fish

If you go into Newsbank and do a search for "Bart Gets an F", then go to the results from 1990, you should get about 16 articles, most of which have some kind of mention of the episode (I don't think any of them use the full title of the ep). There are some comments that would be useful for reception, most of them say its better than Bart Gets an F. If you do a search for "The Simpsons", then go into the area of October 10-11, 1990, you should also find some more comments. I hope that helps. -- Scorpion0422 16:03, 8 May 2009 (UTC)

South Park Season One question

Hey Leftorium. I see that you've nominated South Park (season 1) for featured list and listed me as a co-nominator. Thanks very much for doing that, and I'm glad to see some of my text from the episode articles has been helpful with this article! I had one question though. I started to comb through the article a little bit, and I had a question about the beginning of the Development section. I see that in the first paragraph, the first footnote you have links to a script to the Jesus vs. Santa cartoon, but that doesn't seem to have some of the information that comes before it? Is there a missing footnote somewhere around there? Also, shouldn't the stuff about Mr. Hankey in this first paragraph be attributed to the Mr. Hankey, the Christmas Poo episode commentary, not the Weight Gain 4000 commentary? Thanks. Just 42 articles left (of which, 28 are not yet at GAC) until we finally get every classic-era episode to GA (or higher). After that, I think I'll retire from working on episodes, because it's so repetitive and tiring (plus, most of the season 10+ commentaries suck). Hi there, I'd like to ask you a favor. I currently have one article left over at WP:GAN, Lina Leandersson. Looking at the oldest "Theatre, film..." article, I estimate that someone will probably start a review in 3-4 weeks. RfA can be a thoroughly disheartening experience, but please don't let the process discourage you from contributing (I notice you blanked your user page, I'd guess in response to what was said over at the RfA). The GA/FA issues which were raised are as much to do with some apparent faults in the occasional review process as they are anything else; so, don't let this put you off. RfA has become (IMHO rightly so) more demanding, and potential admins are held to a higher standard. Citing quotations

Per your summary in this edit, I was wondering which page says that a citation must immediately follow a quote. Everything I've read just mentions that the quote must be attributed (which it was at the end of the paragraph in the old case). Thanks, Artichoker[talk] 15:27, 24 June 2009 (UTC)

I almost think you're taking that too literally. True it states that it should be placed directly after the citation, but I think that is rather to contrast with its other recommended placement. I believe that the way the page was written did not account for the possibility that more info about the review/paper would follow the quote. It simply makes more sense to cite the entire thought, as opposed to attributing every sentence to the same citation. I see I am not alone in my thinking as other video game articles, such as Halo: Combat Evolved, take WP:Citations#When quoting someone just as liberally. What do you think? Hi! I am main contributor to Polish description of Swedish National Parks and particularly this island and I am interested in your plans regarding national park/island issue. It seems to be ongoing problem on English Wiki - missing the difference between institution (NP, county, etc) and a geographical feature - island in most cases. I decided (after consultations) that best solution is to focus on administrative aspects while describing national parks (dates, areas, etc + general description of protected subject) and keep geography, nature and human history to description of island. Hence - we've got 2 articles on Gotska Sandön - describing island itself and national park. The same situation is with Bla Jungfrun (sorry, missing some letters). OMG, I'm so sorry. Let me explain what happened, on the week that I had to pick up the DVD, I had to go to out of town, and when I came back the DVD was wasn't there anymore, cause someone else requested it and my "day limit" expired. When I did another request, I got the DVD, but it was the wrong discs; they were from season four. I pended another request two weeks ago, and I still haven't gotten word if its available.

I felt so bad, that I reviewed one of your articles, as an excuse for you not to be mad at me. One thing I did get from the other DVD, was that in a "dream sequence" in the episode, Will, Grace, and Jack become "old", and that their make-up was put on or something by "Academy Award make-up artists", would that help? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 21:08, 28 June 2009 (UTC)

Okay, I just went through my "notes", and its "Academy Award nominees". They don't mention names, just that. IDK, would that work? I'll do a Google search and see if I come up with something. Yeah, I would see why you ask this. The show was indeed outrageous. ;) 1) Beverley Leslie is a short man and Jack tells Karen that he is not happy with Beverley and tells her his frustrations with him, and I quote, "Or won't let you open the terrace doors to let you scream because he's afraid a gust of wind will blow him off the balcony", which happens and yes it did kill him. :P 2) Jack and Karen sing the song because Karen "feel[s] a song coming on" and Jack agrees.
