I've written [[User:Eddie891/Work|a number]] of articles, one of which was deleted, but as I remember it not for content reasons. These include 300+ articles started from scratch, 100+ DYKs, ~20 GAs and some featured content. I'd say I have a good grasp of notability policies and content creation so as not to need patrolling, but I'd feel better if I weren't the one granting the perm to myself. While most of the articles I created in the past were ice hockey related, I've been focusing lately on Saskatchewan geography topics. When I create an article, I like to complete it to the point that anyone who visits an article I created won't walk away thinking "well, that was a useless stub article."   • These are formulaic Russian geo articles, all using the exact same set of sources. I'm not familiar enough with Russian geography to determine whether a rural locality counts as legal recognition to satisfy WP:GEOLAND, but I'm confident that none of these creations show evidence of meeting GNG. A few of the sources in the Notes section appear to be automated/bot-generated which raises a red flag for me since they typically just use database content with no fact checking, for example this clearly just uses an algorithm to calculate the distance to the nearest railway from any given point on the map. I would suggest a thorough look into ThWiki1910's contributions to ensure we're not enabling another geostub fiasco. –dlthewave ☎ 02:56, 5 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
