Engine Sentai Go-onger (炎神戦隊ゴーオンジャー, Enjin Sentai Gōonjā, translated as Engine Squadron Go-onger(refactored from [[[α]|Engine]])(refactored from [[[β]|Go-on]])) is the title of Toei Company's thirty-second Super Sentai series of Japanese tokusatsu television dramas.[1] Nothing else is currently known concerning characters or cast. It premires on February 17, 2008, following the finale of Juken Sentai Gekiranger. It will air as part of TV Asahi's 2008 Super Hero Time block alongside Kamen Rider Kiva. The motif of this series is animals and the motor industry.
Go-ongers
The Go-onger team is composed of Sōsuke Esumi/Go-on Red (江角 走輔/ゴーオンレッド, Esumi Sōsuke/Gōon Reddo), Renn Kosaka/Go-on Blue (香坂 連/ゴーオンブルー, Kōsaka Ren/Gōon Burū), and Saki Royama/Go-on Yellow (楼山 早輝/ゴーオンイエロー, Rōyama Saki/Gōon Ierō). Hant Jou/Go-on Green (城 範人/ゴーオングリーン, Jō Hanto/Gōon Gurīn) and Gunpei Ishihara/Go-on Black (石原 軍平/ゴーオンブラック, Ishihara Gunpei/Gōon Burakku) support the main team. Each of the Go-ongers has his/her own role call phrase.
- "Mach Full Force!! Go-on Red" (マッハ全開!!ゴーオンレッド, Mahha Zenkai!! Gōon Reddo)
- "Just Correct!! Go-on Blue" (ズバリ正解!!ゴーオンブルー, Zubari Seikai!! Gōon Burū)
- "Smile Blooming!! Go-on Yellow" (スマイル満開!!ゴーオンイエロー, Sumairu Mankai!! Gōon Ierō)

Each of the Go-ongers also has a nickname: "Speed King" Sōsuke, "Cyclopedia" Renn, "Sweet Angel" Saki, "Vagabond" Hant, and "Chaser" Gunpei.[2]
Engine Soul
The Go-ongers' technology revolves around the Engine Souls (炎神ソウル, Enjin Sōru), sentient chip-like items that imbue power into the items that the Go-ongers employ. When not in use, they are kept in the Engine Soul Holster (炎神ソウルホルスター, Enjin Sōru Horusutā).[3]
Arsenal
The primary Go-ongers (Red, Blue, and Yellow) transform by use of the Henshin Cellphone Go-Phone (変身携帯ゴーフォン, Henshin Keitai Gōfon).[4] Go-on Green and Go-on Black use the Henshin Brace ShiftChanger (変身ブレスシフトチェンジャー, Henshin Buresu Shifutochenjā) to transform.[5] Both items make use of Change Souls (チェンジソウル, Chenji Sōru).
Each Go-onger has the Self Transforming Gun MantanGun (セルフ変形銃マンタンガン, Serufu Henkei Jū Mantangan, (refactored from [[[γ]|Mantan]])) as a sidearm which resembles a gas pump dispenser and has both a Gun Mode (ガンモード, Gan Mōdo) and a Rod Mode (ロッドモード, Roddo Mōdo).[6] The primary Go-onger team has the Highway Buster (ハイウェイバスター, Haiwei Basutā) as their group weapon, consisting of Go-on Red's Road Sabre (ロードサーベル, Rōdo Sāberu), Go-on Blue's Garage Launcher (ガレージランチャー, Garēji Ranchā), and Go-on Yellow's Racing Bullet (レーシングバレット, Rēshingu Baretto).[7] Go-on Green and Go-on Black have the Junction Rifle (ジャンクションライフル, Jankushon Raifuru) which is composed of Go-on Green's Bridge Axe (ブリッジアックス, Burijji Akkusu) and Go-on Black's Cowl Laser (カウルレーザー, Kauru Rēzā).[8]
Mecha
The Go-ongers' mecha are denizens of another realm called the Machine World (マシンワールド, Mashin Wārudo), choosing the Go-ongers as their partners to fight Gaiarc.

Notes
Template:Ent "Engine" (炎神, Enjin) literally translates as "Flame God." The logo for the series uses "Engine" in the title instead of "Enjin." Template:Ent "Go-onger" (ゴーオンジャー, Gōonjā) is a portmanteau of the Japanese words for "thunderous sound" (轟音, gōon) and "Ranger" (レンジャー, Renjā). Template:Ent "MantanGun" (マンタンガン, Mantangan) comes from the Japanese phrase for "fill 'er up" (満タン, mantan).
