Hi! You have been doing a series of edits which are quite disruptive in nature. Changing categories of topics like Gaye Holud, Bou Bhaat to Bangladesh-only categories is not encyclopedic. These cultural traditions are shared by Bangladesh and West Bengal. Changing the template from Culture of Bengal to Culture of Bangladesh is also counter-productive, for the same reason. And please refrain from removing Wikiproject India tags from the talk pages of relevant articles. Please continue to add Wikiproject Bangladesh tags to relevant articles. Regards.--Dwaipayan (talk) 04:02, 8 June 2012 (UTC) |

You have been damaging the Wikipedia quite a bit by your tendentious editing. Bengal is not West Bengal. In fact Bangladesh is the larger part of Bengal both in terms of geographical area and population. If you continue to ignore all the advice other editors are providing you, then you are going to be in serious trouble sooner or later. The community has been very polite to you so far. Don't make it loose patience. <span style="text-shadow:grey 0.3em 0.3em 0.1em; class=texhtml"><font face="Kristen ITC" color="deeppink">Aditya</font></span>(talk • contribs) 12:33, 10 June 2012 (UTC) |

- Welcome!
Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. The following links will help you begin editing on Wikipedia:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia
- How to edit a page
- Editing tutorial
- Picture tutorial
- How to write a great article
- Naming conventions
- Manual of Style
- Please bear these points in mind while editing Wikipedia
- Respect copyrights – do not copy and paste text or images directly from other websites.
- Maintain a neutral point of view – this is one of Wikipedia's core policies.
- Take particular care while adding biographical material about a living person to any Wikipedia page and follow Wikipedia's Biography of Living Persons policy. Particularly, controversial and negative statements should be referenced with multiple reliable sources.
- No edit warring or sock puppetry.
- If you are testing, please use the Sandbox to do so.
- Do not add troublesome content to any article, such as: copyrighted text, libel, advertising or promotional messages, and text that is not related to an article's subject. Deliberately adding such content or otherwise editing articles maliciously is considered vandalism; doing so will result in your account or IP being blocked from editing.
- Do not use talk pages as discussion or forum pages as Wikipedia is not a forum.
The Wikipedia tutorial is a good place to start learning about Wikipedia. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and discussion pages using four tildes, like this: ~~~~ (the software will replace them with your signature and the date). Again, welcome!
Blogs
Except for some blogs in the media that are editorially controlled, or by very well known experts, we don't use blogs as sources or as external links. See WP:RS and WP:EL. Dougweller (talk) 15:41, 31 May 2012 (UTC)

Your addition to Silk Road has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. If you are the copyright holder, please read Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials for more information on uploading your material to Wikipedia. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text, or images borrowed from other websites, or printed material without a verifiable license; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content, such as sentences or images—you must write using your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. This was copied from http://bangladeshunlocked.blogspot.co.uk/2011/09/southwest-silk-road.html - note that we assume copyright unless there is an explicit reason to know that text is copyright free. In any case any such material would need reliable sources. Dougweller (talk) 15:42, 31 May 2012 (UTC)
- Ah, good catch. I was going to ask about where this came from. Never occurred to me to simply check for plagiarism. The Sound and the Fury (talk) 16:16, 31 May 2012 (UTC)
- Ok, sorry for the mistake! I'm trying to rewrite the information with my own words which will not violate the copyrights. As for the reliable source of the information, I think this will be a strong source
