Thermal Power Plant

01) Sant Singaji Power Plant Shree Singaji Thermal Power Project Stage I is a proposed 1,200 megawatt (MW)coal-fired power station to be located in Mundi in the District of Khandwa, Madhya Pradesh, India. The project is proposed by M.P. Power Generating Company, which is also known as [[Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Co. Ltd. Location

The map below shows the location of MundiKhandwa district, Madhya Pradesh, India but not the exact location of the project. The first phase of 1200 MW Sri Singaji Thermal Power Project of Madhya Pradesh Power Generating Company Limited (MPPGCL) at Mundi city in Khandwa district.

MPPGCL can This project, 600-600 MW power would be generated in two units. Sri Singaji Thermal Power Project was earlier known as Malwa Thermal Power Project.

The estimated cost of the project is Rs 4053 crre, of which Power Finance Corporation would provide Rs 3242 crore as loan while the state government would pay the rest Rs 811 crore as equity.

The main plant of this project would be constructed by Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL)and MPPGCL would look after the civil works.

Online percentage rate bids for the following works are invited from the contractors registered in centralized registration system of MPPWD and firms of repute fulfilling registration criteria, for the works given in the table below on 'Percentage Rate Basis' (Above/Below/ At par) based on Integrated Standard Schedule of Rates (ISSR) of Urban Administration & Development Department, effective from 10 May 2012: The Bid Seals (Hashes) will be received online on the portal http://uadd.mpeprocurement.gov.in on or before 02/07/2013 upto 5:30 p.m.

2. The bidders intending to participate in this tender are required to get enrolled/ registered on the e- procurement web site http://mpeprocurement.gov.in and get empanelled on the sub portal of Public Works Department http://uadd.mpeprocurement.gov.in. 5. Earnest Money is accepted in FDR, drawn in favour of Chief Municipal Officer, Nagar Parishad, Mundi, Distt. Khandwaonly.

Note: Original term deposit receipt of earnest money deposit, demand draft for the cost of bid document and affidavit shall be submitted by the bidder so as to reach the office Chief Municipal Officer, Nagar Parishad, Mundi, Distt. Khandwa at least one working day before dt- 05-07-2013 up to 17.30pm.

7. At the time of submission of the Bid the bidder should have valid registration in the appropriate category with the MPPWD. However, such bidders who are not registered with the MPPWD and are eligible for registration can also submit their bids after having applied for registration with appropriate authority.
