  • Comment: For now at least. I have explained to the user that regardless of the ratio of sources to information, her filmography which only consists of a few works apparently, is outweighed by the large number of sources thus this article is still questionable.   • Comment: If you reply, simply reply at the same section as earlier. The overall article is simply still questionable as the list of works is not as large as it could be thus she's still questionable for notability. Komal Jha is an Indian movie actress[1], who has acted in the Hindi, Kannada, Telugu and Malayalam film industries. Jha made her début in the Indian film industry in the Malayalam movie 24 Hrs. She has played lead roles in Telugu movies Neevachata Kushalama, Eduruleni Alexander, Chinna Cinema. She was featured in the Kannada comedy Nimbe Huli as one of the lead actresses.[2][3]

Komal Jha made her first appearance in Bollywood through 3 Idiots. Now she is set to start her career as lead actress in Bollywood with Mr. MBA in a lead role opposite Sahil Kohli.[4]

Before entering to the film industry, Komal Jha was working as a civil engineer in United Arab Emirates after she graduated from M. S. Ramaiah Institute of Technology.

Early life

Komal Jha[5] was born on 15 March 1987 in Ranchi (Jharkhand) to an orthodox Brahmin family[1]. Her father is author and philosopher Dr. Shyama Nand Jha. She completed her schooling from DAV Jawahar Vidya Mandir, Shyamali School situated in the MECON Colony in Ranchi[6]. She used to reside in the same colony, where Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni lived.[7][8] Later on, she has gained an Engineering degree in Civil Engineering from MSRIT[9]. She was placed on campus by an accredited and reputed construction company situated in Dubai but after a year of her work, she resigned from her post to make her career in area of glamour and acting.

Activities

Apart from her acting, Jha writes poetry and she publishes[6] these poems on her own website. At some instances, she has appeared as a delegate to speak about the current issues on different news channels[10] representing the youth.

Controversies

There were some controversies[11][12] surrounded Komal Jha. The director of the movie complained[11] to the Karnataka Film Chamber of Commerce about Komal before release of her Kannada movie Nimbe Huli. As it was stated by her in one of her interviews to Times of India, these controversies stopped her from taking up more assignments in Kannada Film Industry[13]. Reportedly she made an allegation stating she wasn't treated professionally during the filming of the movie, to one of her interviewers from The Times of India[14][15].

Also, she alleged[16] that the co-actor Varun Sandesh indecently behaved with her during the filming of the movie Priyathama Neevachata Kushalama.

There was a news that she was linked with the Indian Cricket captain M. S. Dhoni[17] and a well known Indian actor R. Madhavan[18] too.
