I have removed the barnstar you gave yourself, based on the fact that contained another users signature, you were basically using his Id to give it yourself, which is a very serious breach of policy. '''Do not re-add it''', or you'll be facing a block for impersonating another user--[[User:Jac16888|<font color="Blue">Jac</font><font color="Green">16888</font>]][[User talk:Jac16888|<font color="red">Talk</font>]] 15:49, 26 May 2009 (UTC)

Notice

Sorry about the huge pic, but I had to get your attention :-) You cannot change your user name just by moving pages around; it's not possible. You need to request the change, in Wikipedia:Changing username. I've moved this page back, because the user account "The One And Only Fools And Horses" does not exist. You can request that name if you wish; see Wikipedia:Changing username. Cheers,  Chzz  ►  22:17, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Microsoft Page Update

Craig Mundie is no longer on the crew at Microsoft as when they bidded for Xbox, he wanted them to withdraw there bid however the did not and he left them.

Please update this (i cant for some reason)El-Pabloski : Chat 14:04, 12 May 2009 (UTC) —Preceding unsigned comment added by El-Pabloski (talk • contribs) 13:54, 12 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

  • Ask for help. Talk to us live, or edit this page, put {{helpme}} and describe what help you need. Someone will reply very quickly - usually within a few minutes.
  • Edit existing articles, before you make your own. Look at some subjects that you know about, and see if you can make them a bit better. For example, Wikipedia:Cleanup#2009.
  • When you're ready, read about Your first article. It should be about something well-known, and it will need references.

Good luck with editing; please drop me a line some time on my own talk page.

There's lots of information below. Once again, welcome to the fantastic world of Wikipedia!

Speedy deletion of Paul Paterson

A tag has been placed on Paul Paterson requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Nice sig!

Great stuff.

By the way, in case you didn't know, the reason some of the stuff in User:El-Pabloski/test looks odd is, because the lines have a space at the start,

which looks like this.

If you did know, and it was deliberate, then apologies for mentioning it.

talk to us live any time. Cheers!  Chzz  ►  16:13, 23 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Soz, About That

Hey I don't think I understand this edit to Google search (which I reverted). Maybe you meant to put that at File:Google screenshot.png or something? ~a (usertalkcontribs) 20:34, 23 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Jonathan Hay (publicist)

Thank you for your contribution the Jonathan Hay (publicist), which is now Jonathan Hay (songwriter). You stated in your move from publicist to songwriter that you "moved Jonathan Hay (publicist) to Jonathan Hay (songwriter): he is not a publicist and no proof has been given to say he is one." While you are correct in the fact that Hay is an established songwriter and has received acknowledgments for his songwriting, I would also like to point you to a few (of many) references that do prove his notability as a publicist:

Please see the following references: Wu Tang Corp article about Jonathan Hay and Jonathan Hay gets last historical interview with MC Breed on Allhiphop (Jonathan Hay in article and the audio recording). Wu-Tang Corp is the official website of the Wu-Tang Clan, who, according to Wikipedia are "One of the most critically and commercially successful hip hop groups of all time." Also, according to Wikipedia, "At five million visitors a month, AllHipHop is the world's most popular hip hop website." The first reference is an official news item that clearly establishes Hay as a notable publicist and the second reference establishes him as as a notable journalist, as mentioned in the original version. Furthermore, AllHipHop has been used as a reliable reference in hundreds of Wikipedia articles. Hay is extensively talked about in this article in Rise Over Run Magazine and also clearly established as publicist for the Nappy Roots. Therefore, the person has been the subject of published work by sources that are reliable, intellectually independent, and independent of the subject as per WP:BIO. Thank you again for your help. --Jklein212 (talk) 02:14, 9 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've now revamped Jonathan Hay (publicist), adding new references and inserting and removing certain information. Please revisit the article and consider removing the "article issues" and "fan-site tag" at the top. Thanks in advance--Jklein212 (talk) 06:44, 9 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit you made to Google search has been reverted, as it appears to have removed content from the page without explanation. Changing username

You can't do it just by page moves; you need to file a request at Wikipedia:Changing username. pablohablo. 20:57, 25 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Go to Wikipedia:Changing username and follow the instructions there. There's a link you can click which will take you through it, or you can copy this text
{{subst:Renameuser|El-Pabloski|NEW|3=Reason for requested renaming.}} ~~~~

and paste it at the bottom of the current requests section, replacing "NEW" with the new username that you want and replacing "Reason for requested renaming" with your reason. pablohablo. 11:40, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Username page

Hi

What were you trying to do here? Changing another user's signature timestamp from UTC to GTM and quoting a non-existent WP:RIO look like editing tests (at best) although most would probably construe them as vandalism. pablohablo. 12:54, 26 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
