Merpati Nusantara Airlines is an airline based in Indonesia that provides largely domestic and regional flights.
Based on Jakarta's Soekarno Hatta Airport. Has a Maintenance Facility based in Surabaya's Juanda Airport
Government controlled company and is a part of Garuda Indonesia Group but now is a separate entity.
Mostly a regional domestic flight and also regional international flight such as to singapore & kuala lumpur and also darwin, NT.

Fleet
The Merpati fleet consists of the following aircraft (at March 2005):
- 10 Boeing 737-200
- 2 Boeing 737-300
- 3 Fokker 100
- 8 Fokker F28
- 6 Fokker F27
- 3 CN-235
- 9 Casa 212
- 9 DHC-6 Twin Otter
- In June 2006,it placed an order for 15 Xian MA60, a 60 seat Chinese built aircraft. The first aircraft is scheduled to be delivered in November 2006 and all are to be received by the end of 2007. The MA60s are to replace fleet of Casa CN-235s and Fokker 27.
