Returning (Jan)

I have previously been involved reviewing new articles a number of years ago, and I have a little extra time in my schedule, and would like to work on reviewing and/or creating new articles. My profile now alerts me about "AFCH error: user not listed". I don't recall the details of AFCH implementation, but I presume I used to have access for the AfH helper. I'm up to date on notability guidelines. Feel free to reject if you require a high volume or work, but I am happy to contribute quality in occasional bursts.

Hello, I've been an experienced editor and new page reviewer for 6+ years. I'm back from a break and am ready to start working again to improve the encyclopedia. Cheers! Stella BATPHONEGROOVES 00:57, 10 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Not done for now. As much as I am thrilled to have someone back after a long hiatus, I'm afraid it's a little too long. The last time you edited in the draft space was 2012, and your last 50 edits take us all the way back to 2017 (your last 500 edits bring the date back to 2012). The notability policies and guidelines have changed quite significantly since you were last heavily involved in the project, and with no recent (or any, nearly) involvement in AFD I'm not really sure I can comfortably consider you (from an AFC perspective) as anything other than a newbie. I'm happy to reconsider once you've been back for a few months. Primefac (talk) 17:52, 14 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Hi I took a break from editing Wikipedia and am interested in reviewing the AfC again (am currently inactive), would be interested in getting restored. Thanks! Craig Davison (talk) 17:21, 31 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

New (Jan)

I have read through and studied the reviewing instructions, as well as the notability guidelines (GNG,BASIC,NRV,NEXIST,SUSTAINED, etc..). I have also participated in multiple AfD discussions. I want to be a reviewer because drafts submitted via AfC take a considerable amount of time to be approved (2-3 Months usually), I want to fix that by reviewing as much pages As I can. Thanks- Kieran207 talk 20:32, 1 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Probation, which will be evaluated in 3-6 months. Being on probation only means that you can be removed from the list for any reason without prior discussion. Primefac (talk) 16:13, 3 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I have had a good time with Toddy1 and worked on a number of articles along with him like Masrat Zahra. He is a good patroller and already has Rollback and pending change reviewer flags. Just encountered a little issue on Draft:Tariq Masood, and posted an explanatory message on his talk page. If he gets the AfC flag, it'd be really great. ─ The Aafī (talk) 20:51, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Not done, this is one of those things in which a user actually needs to request it themselves. Primefac (talk) 16:13, 3 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
To clear some of the backlog in sports pages, mainly the college basketball areas. I have been on Wikipedia for about 10 years and have over 8,000 edits and numerous page creations. Would love to help out. Brian (talk) 09:02, 3 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'd love to help cut into the AFC backlog. I have read the reviewing instructions, and I understand all relevant policies. I have been involved in the deletion process, via PROD, AFD, and (occasionally) CSD. I also have experience interacting with new users, as evidenced by my counter-vandalism work. Hello, I have contributed to over 1,000 articles. I would love to help fellow contributors with their drafts. That being said, I would love to help clear up AfC backlogs. Christophervincent01 (talk) 01:15, 5 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Not done. Your talk page is full of declines for the most common issues that drafts face, and if your own drafts have these issues it implies that you will not be able to recognize them in the drafts of others. Primefac (talk) 18:06, 14 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I have been on Wikipedia for 10 years now (joined in 2011), have nearly 9,000 edits and have created numerous articles and redirects. I am familiar with the guidelines, rules, notability criteria, etc. and would like to assist in helping with the AfC backlog. I have participated in multiple AfD discussions and nominated pages for deletion in the past. Inexpiable (talk) 15:26, 5 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I am requesting to become an AFC Reviewer to help reduce the backlog of articles in Draftspace and under WP:AFC. I noticed they're articles dating back to August which I believe I have the experience based on Wikipedia guidelines to help review them. I have been actively participating in tagging articles with G13, G11 and G12 in Draftspace for the meantime. I have experience with AFD as well, i am very familiar with Wikipedia guidelines and believe I can be of great help. Cheers Lord Grandwell (talk) 19:25, 7 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

It's probably better if I'm an official "Reviewer" instead of an unofficial "Whoops did I just help that person seeking help getting approved by lifting the velvet rope for them?" kind of reviewer. Won't do much, probably average one a day - won't do any that seem borderline, stubs or controversial - but I can help whittle down the extensive backlog at least for the next couple months until my full-time job arrives back in the country. To assist with the backlog. I have read the reviewing instructions and have a solid understanding of our notability and deletion policies. I previously participated in NPP (mostly prior to the page curation revamp), have been involved in a handful of AfD discussions and recently had an article reach featured status, so I'm confident with content creation side of things. Over the last few months I've mostly been participating within contentious DS areas, so a spot of AfC reviewing would be welcome change of scenery. Jr8825Talk 15:56, 12 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I've been fairly active on IRC/wikipedia-en-help for a bit now, and I think I've reached a point where I'm comfortable enough to help out with reviewing obviously failing drafts. I have read through and understand the reviewing instructions, and I believe I have a demonstrated understanding of the notability guidelines through my participation in the IRC help channel. I do not have experience in AfD, although I do think I have a decent amount of experience with CSD (I don't have a CSD log, but I have sent at least 67 speedy deletion notifications). Hi there, I would love to help in the AfC reviewing process as I have experienced first hand how long it may take for some articles to get reviewed in a timely manner. Let me know what I can do to help! BatYote. (talk) 15:45, 14 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I am interested in becoming an AfC reviewer and helping to hopefully make a dent in the backlog of AfC articles. I have read, understand, and will continue to study the reviewing instructions. I believe that I meet all criteria: my account is well over 90 days old, I have 885 edits to mainspace, and I have some experience being on both the applying and receiving end of CSD and PROD tags. I have little applied experience with notability issues but I am aware of and understand the guidelines, and I am fairly active on Wikipedia and will be able to respond to questions about reviews in a timely manner. warmly, ezlev. talk 19:37, 16 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, during recent changes patrolling I regularly come across drafts like this one, that doesn't have a chance of getting accepted. I would like to sign up as an AfC reviewer so that I can help reduce the huge backlog of AfC submissions. I am mostly active in CSD tagging, and have started participating in AfD discussions. While I am active in counter-vandalism areas, I would like to contribute towards AfC as well. Ashleyyoursmile! 19:00, 26 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Since 2020, I have become more active in the administrative areas of Wikipedia. I have also created 21 articles and have successfully nominated 2 for DYK. I have also begun tagging pages for speedy deletion (98% success rate) and participating in AFD. I just got done reading the requirements and instructions for carrying out AFC. I now truly believe that I am ready to become an AFC reviewer. Scorpions13256 (talk) 23:40, 31 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Primefac, hope you are doing well. I would like to sign up as an AfC reviewer so that I can help reduce the backlog of AfC submissions. I like to become an AfC reviewer to help with the backlog of 4,200+ pending submissions. I have read the instructions for reviewing and am aware of the notability guideline and its subject-specific variants. ~ Ase1estecharge-paritytime 12:29, 12 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
