Primary topic

Hello Ireadbooks12, I would recommend reading WP:PRIMARYTOPIC. The "Friends" article being under such a general title is an exception. In almost all cases, a TV show is not going to be the primary topic if we have an article about the more general term. – Thjarkur (talk) 07:30, 13 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Silent Bay Studios moved to draftspace

An article you recently created, Silent Bay Studios, is not suitable as written to remain published. It needs more citations from reliable, independent sources. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Hi Ireadbooks12 - I just wanted to let you know that I redirected the article back to the article about the game - there is still very little to say about the character, but if more emerges in due course, and it is supported by reliable sources, it might make sense to create a separate article. Thanks! ninety:one (reply on my talk) 10:06, 24 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Dmitry Suchkov requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a real person or group of people that does not credibly indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please read more about what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Israel, West Virginia. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Please stop adding unreferenced or poorly referenced biographical content, especially if controversial, to articles or any other Wikipedia page, as you did at Cristiano Ronaldo. Notice

The article Alica Schmidt has been proposed for deletion because it appears to have no references. Under Wikipedia policy, this biography of a living person will be deleted after seven days unless it has at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article.

If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the {{prod blp/dated}} tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within seven days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Unreferenced articles

All Wikipedia articles must be supported by reliable sources- this is a mandatory requirement. Please do not create unreferenced articles, as you have done with Alica Schmidt and 2021 Azerbaijan Grand Prix tyre controversy. Joseph2302 (talk) 11:17, 5 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Speedy deletion nomination of GTPlanet

Hello Ireadbooks12,

I wanted to let you know that I just tagged GTPlanet for deletion in response to your request.

If you didn't intend to make such a request and don't want the article to be deleted, you can edit the page and remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.

You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Thanks!

@Yamla: New unblock request.

About my request

@Yamla:, please check my request. Iy took me a long time to write it.

Someone else will review your request. I have already reviewed and declined an unblock request from you. --Yamla (talk) 13:00, 29 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, sorry. Also, is WP:OVERLINK a rule by any chance? I know a page that not only uses it, but also inaccurately ("American market" refers to North America in general, not just the U.S.) --Ireadbooks12 (talk) 13:01, 29 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Excuse me?

How is using IPs while blocked count as sock puppeting? --Ireadbooks12 (talk) 05:07, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Blocks apply to the person, not just the account. See WP:EVADE. --Yamla (talk) 10:30, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
What about if the person edits constructively on the IP? I'm trying to change. --Ireadbooks12 (talk) 15:50, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Which part of WP:EVADE do you think permits that? Which part of "blocks apply to the person, not just the account" do you think permits that? --Yamla (talk) 17:11, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

So I can't ever edit Wikipedia anymore? I can only read it? --Ireadbooks12 (talk) 17:34, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Until you are unblocked, that is correct. And your block evasion will count against you in your unblock requests. --Yamla (talk) 17:52, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

But my block is permanent, so that means I can't ever edit anymore. Well, I do have a range block for my IPs, so maybe when that expires. --Ireadbooks12 (talk) 18:05, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Your block is not permanent, it's indefinite. Note that your explicit threat to continue evading your block will substantially count against your unblock request. --Yamla (talk) 18:30, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

As in my above unblock request (that was rejected), where I linked sources to some of my unsourced edits, I can prove that I now understand WP:RS. Ireadbooks12 (talk) 17:50, 31 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Decline reason:

Except again you have been evading your block through IPs. In order for any unblock to be considered, you will need to ceased editing in total around your block through IP. At this point to prove that, I would recommend not editing Wikipedia at all for 6 months, then coming back and requesting an unblock. RickinBaltimore (talk) 19:55, 1 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
