I was a [[Wikipedia:Bureaucrats|bureaucrat]] from June 2004 until December 2015, but never a terribly active one: I'm happy to chat about it, if anyone is curious, but I'd recommend talking to current or at least more recently active folk for better information. I was once an elected member of the [[Wikipedia:Arbitration Committee|Arbitration Committee]] (8/04-12/04); I was also a member of the [[Wikipedia:Mediation Committee|Mediation Committee]] from February-December 2005 (and served very briefly as its chair from February until April of that year).
