Hi, I moved a page that you created. Question about redirects
[edit](moved from Talk:Main page)
- Hey, I had a quick question about redirects. I created the article CapGeek, and I wanted to make it so that when you type in the founder's name (Mathew Wuest), it would redirect to that page. Any help?
- I will delete this post first thing when I wake up in the morning (currently 3:02AM here), however, if it doesn't last that long, will the person who knows how to do this please post on my Talk Page? Thanks. Spilia4 (talk) 07:01, 21 March 2015 (UTC)
- Hi Spilia, I've redirected the name Mathew Wuest to CapGeek by adding #REDIRECT [[CapGeek#Mathew_Wuest]] to that page. I'm sorry to hear about the death of such a young person :( --Vejvančický (talk / contribs) 07:27, 21 March 2015 (UTC)
- No problem, added him to the list of Deaths in 2015, March 19. The sources say he died Thursday, which was March 19. --Vejvančický (talk / contribs) 07:42, 21 March 2015 (UTC)
- Thanks for that, I'm so tired I hadn't even noticed I made the error lol. Fixed it on the article. Spilia4 (talk) 07:43, 21 March 2015 (UTC)
- ...and thanks for this ... Gods I'm an idiot :D --Vejvančický (talk / contribs) 07:44, 21 March 2015 (UTC)

The Flintstones (1993 video game)
[edit]Hallo, in this edit you created a stub tag, with a date, at the top of the article. Please note that stub tags go at the bottom (see WP:ORDER) and they don't have a date parameter. I've fixed it now.
There's also the point that if you create an article with a disambiguated title like this, you need to make sure there's a link to it from "The Flintstones": I'm working on it.
Thanks, and enjoy your editing. PamD 22:31, 11 April 2015 (UTC)

NHL Attendance figures
[edit]Hi there - on the talk page for the 2014-15 Toronto Maple Leafs article, you asked about how to find attendance numbers. You can see them if you use the Recap link, then on the NHL site use the Boxscore link, then in the Official Game Reports (on the right side) take Game Summary. The attendance number is at the top of the page. PKT(alk) 01:25, 8 October 2015 (UTC)

DYK for Steep (video game)
[edit]On 24 June 2016, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article Steep (video game), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that Ubisoft Annecy consulted professional skiers and extreme sports experts when creating Steep? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/Steep (video game). You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, Steep (video game)), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Finally, if you know of an interesting fact from another recently created article, then please feel free to suggest it on the Did you know talk page.

Cut-and-paste move
[edit]Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you tried to give The School: White Day a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into White Day: A Labyrinth Named School (2015 video game). This is known as a "cut-and-paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is legally required for attribution. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.
In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page (the tab may be hidden in a dropdown menu for you). This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Requests for history merge. Thank you. GeoffreyT2000 (talk, contribs) 00:19, 20 July 2017 (UTC)
- @GeoffreyT2000: Yeah I began editing at 3am local time and didn't realise I made that dumb error until this morning hahaha. I properly moved the talk page and thus it's history too, but I was not aware I was able to request a history merger even after years of Wikipedia editing. Thank you for filling out the request in my place and I'll defiantly note this in case I accidentally do a cut and-paste move again. Spilia4 (talk) 00:31, 20 July 2017 (UTC)

DYK for White Day: A Labyrinth Named School (2015 video game)
[edit]On 6 August 2017, Did you know was updated with a fact from the article White Day: A Labyrinth Named School (2015 video game), which you recently created, substantially expanded, or brought to good article status. The fact was ... that the East Asian holiday White Day served as the basis for the horror game White Day: A Labyrinth Named School? The nomination discussion and review may be seen at Template:Did you know nominations/White Day: A Labyrinth Named School (2015 video game). You are welcome to check how many page hits the article got while on the front page (here's how, White Day: A Labyrinth Named School (2015 video game)), and it may be added to the statistics page if the total is over 5,000. Hello! I just wanted to explain my edits on Travis Dermott and why I reverted some of yours.
"A player on an entry-level contract can skate in nine games before teams must decide whether to send him to the American Hockey League or junior hockey and delay the start of their contract to the following season. Teams still can send a player down after his 10th game, but it would use up the first season of his contract regardless of how many more NHL games he played."[1]
He is playing professionally in the AHL however he is still a prospect for the Leafs until he hits that 10 game mark. His first season hasn't "officially" kicked in yet if he gets sent down before 10 games. An example I can point out is Dylan Strome, who is also a prospect despite playing a few games. Based on what Babcock's been saying I doubt he will get sent down but this is where we lie right now.I think of it like a probation period at a job, you can be fired without reason until you've worked a certain number of months. I just wanted to clarify because I feel it could not be fully explained in the edit summary!
Anyways, keep up your good editing! HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 02:25, 9 January 2018 (UTC)
The current team that is listed in the infobox can probably change to the Toronto Maple Leafs, however, I just want to make sure it is known he is still a prospect. HickoryOughtShirt?4 (talk) 02:26, 9 January 2018 (UTC)
- @HickoryOughtShirt?4: Thanks for clarifying, I knew of the 10 game contract clause thing but didn't know we should classify him as a prospect on articles still, thanks for letting me know! I agree the infobox should say playing for the Maple Leafs though, so I reverted that back. Spilia4 (talk) 03:14, 9 January 2018 (UTC)
- Thanks! I hope I didn't come off too strong, I can clearly see you're an established editor. I see all the articles you've worked on and congrats on getting Zach Hyman and Kennedy to good article standard! Looking forward to collaborating with you in the future. Leafs' recognition of Lamoriello as a Leaf HHOFer
[edit]@Leventio: According to Leventio, the Leafs don't recognize Lamoriello as their HHOFer. Johnny Au (talk/contributions) 03:24, 1 May 2018 (UTC)
- Personally I feel we should go by what the HHOF says rather than the team, since the team has oddly left out other players who played for them and are in the HHOF. Even if the team doesn't recognize them, doesn't change the fact they're in the HHOF and have represented Toronto in some fashion. Thoughts @Leventio:, @Johnny Au:? I'm not sure if Wikipedia already has a policy on this since I haven't seen anything on the matter. Spilia4 (talk) 04:26, 1 May 2018 (UTC)
- Honestly not opposed to using HHOF as a standard, the problem is that getting official citations for that is rather complicated, partly because the HHOF doesn't provide a comprehensive list of builders by team affiliation (they have one for players though). It isn't impossible, just tedious, and a lot of extra citations (have to go through individual inductee profiles as opposed to a one source). Thats why I opted to go for team acknowledgement as the standard (comprehensive HHOF lists in media guides makes for easy citations). All that said though, Lou's HHOF inductee profile doesn't make mention of his Leafs tenure, which would indicate that the HHOF doesn't recognize an affiliation with the Leafs either (or rather recognize his accomplishments since his induction in '09).
- Perhaps we could provide a quick summary of Lou, along with the two omitted players from the media guide in the introductory prose of the HHOF section (quick side thingy, meant there were two omitted players in my original comment... don't know why I thought it was 8). That would actually fall in line with some media guides (Leafs' guide didn't have that section though), where they have a separate list for former builders/players inducted for things outside their team. Would this be a good alternative? Leventio (talk) 07:53, 1 May 2018 (UTC)

The file File:Limited Run Games Logo.png has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:
Unused. Superseded by files at File:Limited Run Games logo black.svg.
While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.
You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.
Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}}
will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. --Minorax«¦talk¦» 03:00, 8 September 2022 (UTC)
