Ricardo Bofill (born December 5, 1939) is a Spanish architect born in Catalonia of Jewish descent.

He was born in Barcelona and studied at the Architectural School in Barcelona, and later in Geneva.

Bofill is one of the main representatives of postmodernism in architecture.

In 1983 he received a grant from the Graham Foundation to deliver a lecture in Chicago.
