The 2007 World Championships in Athletics will be held in Osaka, Japan from August 24 to September 2, 2007 at Nagai Stadium.
Bidding Process
Osaka was announced the winning bidder by the IAAF on November 16, 2002 as the sole remaining candidate after Budapest (Hungary) and Berlin (Germany) had earlier withdrawn their bids.
