See, I want to request them to make a Capcom all-star game, featuring characters from all, or at least most, of their games... Like; Street Fighter, Devil May Cry, Darkstalkers, Mega Man, Onimusha and maybe Resident Evil, and so on and so forth, but I couldn't find any way to contact them on their site... I would very much appeciate the help and, if not to much to ask for, would like anyone that reads this and knows how to contact them help me create a demand for this game. Thanks. == Name? ==
I've always seen CAPCOM written as such, in all-caps. I assume that's how it officially is, and it's reflected in their logo. Should the article be changed?

Products List Possible Error?

Hello. I was reading the product list on that thing to the right of the page and it mentioned Zombies Ate My Neighbors. I thought that was by Konami, not Capcom? I even have the game for Genesis and it plays it's "Konami chime" at the beginning. I cannot find any reference to Capcom in the Zombies Ate My Neighbor article anyway. I'm not going to touch it though, just in case. Please forgive me if Capcom was involved, in which case it should be mentioned in that Zombies Ate My Neighbors article. -Anonymous

List of games

Removed this from the article, just before the list:

Listing the complete softography is going to take some time and patience.. but here's a start, should this be chronologically ordered? perhaps on a subpage?

I don't think we need the complete list of games, but if so, it probably should be on another page. And my preference would be alphabetical, not chronological. We should probably also have the arcade games Capcom produced, especially since I think they made their big splash on arcade games first. —Frecklefoot 16:35, 3 Sep 2003 (UTC)

Maybe we should just put in the most notable games. The most important information is what counts the most, after all. -- LGagnon
I vote for including *all* titles by Capcom (probably in another page) ordered chonologicaly. xDCDx 18:17, 1 Aug 2004 (UTC)

There should be more Dreamcast games (such as Mars Matrix, Gunbird 2, and Project Justice) - Capcom gave this system a lot of support.

Other meaning

I always thought Capcom is just the NASA short word for "Capsule Communicator", the astronaut on ground who talks with the one(s) in space. andy 22:27, 6 Apr 2004 (UTC)

Perhaps you could add that meaning to the bottom after a seperator. —Frecklefoot 14:49, Apr 7, 2004 (UTC)

Titles

All the titles of games need to be italicised. I'd do it, but I have other fish to fry at the moment. Frecklefoot | Talk 14:07, Jul 30, 2004 (UTC)

Done. Jason One 22:59, 18 Oct 2004 (UTC)

History Section

We need to fill in the history section. Nothing has been done to it. In order to make this GCOTW successful, we'll need to fill that seciton in. --ZeWrestler 12:15, 21 Jun 2005 (UTC)

I put some content in this section. However, quite a bit of it is duplicated from the intro. I'm not sure what the best make-up should be. Should this info not be in this section, or should it be deleted from the intro. Thoughts? Jacoplane 22:53, 24 Jun 2005 (UTC)
No. Capcom, the Capcom we know today anyway, was technically founded in 1983 I believe. The actual Japan Capsule Computers was founded in 1979. I'd start the history section from 1983. The information on their startup history (1979) is far more useful in the intro. IMHO anyway. K1Bond007 01:57, Jun 25, 2005 (UTC)

Capcom Studio 8 and Capcom Production Studio 8?

Are Capcom Studio 8 and Capcom Production Studio 8 the same studio? -Hyad 06:04, July 19, 2005 (UTC)

Yes, I believe the actual name to be Capcom Studio 8, Inc. though. K1Bond007 06:37, July 19, 2005 (UTC)

Yashishi

I would like to see a little part about the Yashishi, that little star-shaped (sort of) icon that Capcom used in a LOT of their games. It was the cursor in SNES Street Fighter 2 Turbo, Invincibility icon in Final Fight 3, full refill in Mega Man 1 (only one in game), featured in Hydron's ending in Capcom Fighting Evolution. It's in almost all of their older games I believe. Maybe when we have some other Trivia to add too there could be a Trivia section. --ScarletSpiderDave 07:56, 25 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, I just found there is a page on it, I guess I was spelling it wrong. I'm adding Yashichi to the links at the bottom for now. --68.249.238.21 08:32, 29 November 2006 (UTC) Oops. Wasn't signed in; that was me --ScarletSpiderDave 08:34, 29 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Nickel City

I redirected Nickel City here and added some information under the "related corporations" section. Although they're not owned by Capcom anymore, the fact Capcom once owned them is the only real notability they retain, so I figured it was appropriate. (that was my edit there at 72.25.88.201 in the history, I forgot to sign in...) --UsaSatsui 19:03, 17 June 2006 (UTC) What is nickel city.[reply]

Microsoft Purchase Rumor

A rumor that microsoft has purchased Capcom is floating around the interwebs today. Just thought I'd mention it here to alert the watchers of this article. --Measure 22:11, 12 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The rumor has since been denied by Capcom, FWIW.--Measure 00:38, 13 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

CAPCOM Reference?

I was watching Sci-Fi channel one night, the first time I've ever seen it, Threshold, some kind of movie , and in one scene, the capcom room (as in capsule communication in NASA), one of the control consoles clearly had the CAPCOM video game company logo. It had that instantly identifiable blue and yellow bold serif lettering. 70.242.145.54 08:58, 10 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

The opening paragraph seems to have been modified to be very biased. - march 23 1:18 a.m. CST(sorry first time post, didn't mean to have it attach to your post)

Pardon, but does anyone here know...

How to get in contact with Capcom (preferably by mail)?

See, I want to request them to make a Capcom all-star game, featuring characters from all, or at least most, of their games...
