Rubbersoul20 (talk · contribs) was blocked for repeatedly deleting AfD tag on Additional reading on liberalism. And for posting this on my talk page - see diff. Wassupwestcoast (talk) 21:56, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

I believe there has been an honest misunderstanding here. The allegation that I threatened Wassupwestcoast with vandalising a page with 300 different IP addresses is completely false. I was not the author of the "threat," and therefore the rationale for my block is wholly unwarranted and without justification. If anything, I am inclined to believe that Wassupwestcoast was motivated by personal prejudice and resentment to block me, but that is only my conjecture.

Decline reason:

Whether you wrote that or not is a matter for a future Checkuser request, if and when it comes to that (although this would give me reason to believe such a request would serve merely as confirmation). But there is no doubt from your edit history that you removed an AfD tag from Additional reading on liberalism three times in as many days. That's why you're staying blocked. — Daniel Case (talk) 22:33, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

This user is asking that their block be reviewed:

Rubbersoul20 (block logactive blocksglobal blockscontribsdeleted contribsfilter logcreation logchange block settingsunblockcheckuser (log))

Request reason:

I never denied having removed the AfD tag a couple of times from a page I createad. The reason for that was that I thought that the nomination for deletion was unwarranted. Retrospectively I realize, I should have proceeded to challenge the nomination for deletion through ways delineated by procedural rules. This nothwithstanding I maintain that an "indefinite block" is unwarranted for such a minor crime. Perhaps political prejudice is at play here (the article is after all on liberalism).

Notes:

  • In some cases, you may not in fact be blocked, or your block has already expired. Please check the list of active blocks. If no block is listed, then you have been autoblocked by the automated anti-vandalism systems. Please remove this request and follow these instructions instead for quick attention by an administrator.
  • Please read our guide to appealing blocks to make sure that your unblock request will help your case. You may change your request at any time.
Administrator use only:

If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, replace this template with the following, replacing "blocking administrator" with the name of the blocking admin:

{{Unblock on hold |1=blocking administrator |2=I never denied having removed the AfD tag a couple of times from a page I createad. The reason for that was that I thought that the nomination for deletion was unwarranted. Retrospectively I realize, I should have proceeded to challenge the nomination for deletion through ways delineated by procedural rules. This nothwithstanding I maintain that an "indefinite block" is unwarranted for such a minor crime. Perhaps political prejudice is at play here (the article is after all on liberalism).  |3 = ~~~~}}

If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following code, substituting {{subst:Decline reason here}} with a specific rationale. Leaving the decline reason unchanged will result in display of a default reason, explaining why the request was declined.

{{unblock reviewed |1=I never denied having removed the AfD tag a couple of times from a page I createad. The reason for that was that I thought that the nomination for deletion was unwarranted. Retrospectively I realize, I should have proceeded to challenge the nomination for deletion through ways delineated by procedural rules. This nothwithstanding I maintain that an "indefinite block" is unwarranted for such a minor crime. Perhaps political prejudice is at play here (the article is after all on liberalism).  |decline = {{subst:Decline reason here}} ~~~~}}

If you accept the unblock request, replace this template with the following, substituting Accept reason here with your rationale:

{{unblock reviewed |1=I never denied having removed the AfD tag a couple of times from a page I createad. The reason for that was that I thought that the nomination for deletion was unwarranted.
