In answer to your questions:

1) This information can also be verified on the movie's official website, http://aussieandted.com/Aussie_and_Ted/Credits.html

2) I work for Shuki Levy and can personally verify that this information is accurate. If you do an online search you will not find any mention of a son, nor will you find one on his official website www.shukilevy.com. The information is simply untrue, and there is no source that can verify it. He does not have a son, but he does have a stepson with Deborah Shelton. If you would like to replace the word "son" with the word "stepson" that would be sufficient.

3) I don't understand how the recording company's website does not count as a reliable source. What would be sufficient as a reliable source in this regard? The information can also be verified on Shuki's official website under the News section: http://www.shukilevy.com/Shuki_Levy_Online/News_and_Events/News_and_Events.html

Thank you.

Project Israel To Do:

Here are some tasks awaiting attention:

I have cleaned up the page to wikiformat, but I think the content may need some more work. -- Sasuke Sarutobi 00:29, 3 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Under "Selected Musical Compositions", "Videos", it lists "1980. Goldwing", which links to the article for the Honda Goldwing motorcycle... Is this right? Jonheese 22:19, 12 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

WikiProject class rating

This article was automatically assessed because at least one WikiProject had rated the article as start, and the rating on other projects was brought up to start class. BetacommandBot 21:14, 9 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Levyshuki.jpg

Image:Levyshuki.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Tel Aviv is currently located in Israel not Palestine

{{editsemiprotected}} The article states that Shuki Levy was born in Tel Aviv, Palestine. Currently Tel Aviv belongs in Israel as per the United Nations world map.

This needs to be edited as the country information is inccorrect

The article states "June 3, 1947 in Tel Aviv, Palestine". On July 3, 1947, Tel Aviv was located in the British Mandate of Palestine. --Soman (talk) 10:29, 12 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Agreed, I think the country at the time he was born in is a more relevant piece of information than the current country. I'll remove the editsemiprotected template. ~ mazca t | c 12:11, 7 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Semiprotection review

As it's been a couple of years now I think it's time to review this semiprotection to see if it's still necessary.

  • 05:31, 8 June 2007 Ryulong protected Shuki Levy ‎ (This page constantly gets hit by one vandal; do not unprotect without contacting me. [edit=autoconfirmed:move=autoconfirmed])

As well as wanting opinions from those who edit regularly, I've also contacted the protecting sysop, Ryulong (talk · contribs · blocks · protections · deletions · page moves · rights · RfA).

--TS 01:16, 5 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Ryulong says the vandal is still active on Wikipedia from time to time, so I don't think unprotecting would be wise. --TS 01:42, 5 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Edit request from Kosherheart, 6 June 2010

{{editsemiprotected}}

Hi, I would like to submit some changes to the Shuki Levy page, as it is not up to date. However, the protection lock will not allow me to submit these changes.

1) Please add Aussie and Ted's Great Adventure to his movie credits. He directed and co-wrote this film, and also composed the music. This information can be verified on IMDB at the following link: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0506619/

2) In the Personal Life section, it states "He has a son and two daughters from these relationships." Shuki does not have a son. He does, however, have a stepson. Please correct this by saying "He has two daughters from these relationships."

3) In the biography section, please add: "Levy currently runs a music production company called Moon Rhythm Music out of the historic Lion Share Studios in Los Angeles, CA." Here is the official website: http://www.moonrhythmmusic.com/
