==Ovarian cyst?==

It was appendicitis not an ovarian cyst that was the surgery.

Fair use rationale for Image:Goodnightmoon.jpg

Image:Goodnightmoon.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in Wikipedia articles constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 16:21, 4 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Anyone have a fair use photo of MWB? While Goodnight Moon is probably her best known book, it has its own entry. Seems like a photo of her would be better. Quine (talk)

Changes to article

Please remember to include an edit summary when you change the text of the article. Both 99.254.1.217 and 209.197.159.225 made a number of changes, each apparently minor, but they add up to substantial changes. Quine (talk)

Citations needed

In my mind the article is much improved from its initial 'fan' like status. However, much of the personal life information is not cited. I no longer have Marcus' biography handy, but I don't recall Brown dating the Prince of Spain, though there was a relationship with a neighbor on Vinalhaven (?). Quine (talk)

William Scott work

One recent change was from her being editor of the press to being "an editor" of the press. As I recall she was chief editor until she left following a pay dispute and Scott (the person) wanting to change the press to a more commercially driven enterprise. (This is as opposed to a press that embodied the Lucy Sprague Mitchell's Bank Street approach.) Quine (talk)

Alternate Names

One of the changes includes that Brown was known as "Brownie" to her friends. As I recall she went by different names depending upon the circle of friends. Her Hollins' friends refered to her as "Tim" because the color of her hair reminded them of Timothy Hay. (Leading to one of the pseudonyms. Quine (talk)

Bibliography

Any interest in including a bibliography of her books? A complete one will probably have to be split off as a separate page as she was quite prolific. Quine (talk)

Ovarian cyst?

It was appendicitis not an ovarian cyst that was the surgery.
