Re: Parser functions—As long as it works.

Nice to know somebody noticed. You get the basic idea—the end-of-year rollover is an issue. Now I’ll check it out. —Schweiwikist (talk) 01:44, 2 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Followup: Thanks a lot for applying this fix to all the instances on test zero, one, and two. Now feel free to pitch in with actual calendars. I try to create the 1st, 8th, 15th, 22d and 29th of the month first, and use them as templates to get a whole month done within a week or so.

I also look forward to see how the end of the year rollover works. UPDATE: less than a week to go before the parserfunc starts to unfold 2012. Already tested it and it will work great—thanks again.---Schweiwikist (talk) 04:39, 17 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Schweiwikist (talk) 01:57, 2 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Great, I am glad it works. 198.102.153.2 (talk) 15:27, 17 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks

Thanks for your feedback at my talk page. I know what caused it and have fixed the issue. I updated that article correctly and I'll check in case there are any others. Thanks again! Lightmouse (talk) 13:25, 13 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No problem. 198.102.153.2 (talk) 15:27, 17 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Info boxes for Welsh places

Hi there. I have noticed your recent edits to the info boxes for villages in Wales, as well as this one for the Stow Hill Electoral Ward in Newport. I wonder might you consider using, instead of the "position in Wales" template, the "position in Newport" template, as I have introduced for example, in Nash. This is especially true for electoral wards which are not villages or towns, and are not necessarily even "communities" as such. Thanks. Martinevans123 (talk) 20:28, 14 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, will do. 198.102.153.2 (talk) 20:33, 14 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Many thanks. Many villages, and most electoral wards, have significance not in relation to Wales as a whole, but in relation to their neighbouring/parent town or city. At least culturally and economically, if not also politically. Martinevans123 (talk) 20:38, 14 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
No problem. 198.102.153.2 (talk) 15:27, 17 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Tyrannosauripus

I appreciate your attempt to fix it, but you might consider moving the article text of Tyrannosauropus to Tyrannosauripus, which is the correct spelling. Bob the WikipediaN (talkcontribs) 17:43, 15 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Infobox airport

Thanks for pointing that out. I reverted to the older version. For the Galkacyo Airport the references should go into the sources/footnotes section of the infobox. CambridgeBayWeather (talk) 20:50, 5 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Removal of line

Hi, I saw that you had removed a line from my user page with this edit. What was your intention with doing that? I reverted the edit for so long. —Kri (talk) 18:03, 21 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

What do you mean, do I have to write a descriptive summary for my edits to be accepted? And why was my question just removed? I still want an answer – why did you remove text from my user page? —Kri (talk) 21:22, 23 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I was unaware that adding deleted templates was something you still intend to do. 198.102.153.2 (talk) 21:49, 23 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I just wanted an explanation to why you removed the line, that's all. Then to not get an explanation when I'm asking for one but instead get the question removed is annoying, so please don't answer that sarcastically. How do you know that the templates have been deleted by the way? —Kri (talk) 22:35, 23 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I wasn't being sarcastic. Many of these templates are being deleted. The general consensus is that we don't need more of them. 198.102.153.2 (talk) 23:11, 23 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, superfluous templates are being deleted, you are right. So, has the templates on my page already been created and then deleted? Do you think it's a bad idea to create them? —Kri (talk) 12:47, 24 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free use rationale film poster

Thanks for your help with {{Non-free use rationale film poster}}. There are hundreds of these, so I think it's probably faster to just have a bot take care of it. However, if you are feeling very ambitious, feel free to help. Thanks! Plastikspork (talk) 00:01, 4 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for converting Template:Infobox summit to use Template:Infobox. I was too lazy to do it, but it fixed the issue that brought me to that page (specified width). :-) --MZMcBride (talk) 19:50, 4 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You better look who you are warning

First my revert was NOT a second revert in 24 hours so you falsely accused me of breaking the 3 revert when I didn't. Second Dfw.com is NOT reliable source nor is any of the rest that were added so continuing to readd them and then threaten me is wrong of you and as such I should report you for such things but I will live you a warning on instead. February 2012

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute to Wikipedia, at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Blue (LeAnn Rimes song), did not appear to be constructive and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and read the welcome page to learn more about contributing constructively to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Swifty*talkcontribs 19:41, 7 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

If this is a shared IP address, and you didn't make the edit, consider creating an account for yourself so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Blue (LeAnn Rimes song). Users are expected to collaborate with others, to avoid editing disruptively, and to try to reach a consensus rather than repeatedly undoing other users' edits once it is known that there is a disagreement.

Please be particularly aware, Wikipedia's policy on edit warring states:

  1. Edit warring is disruptive regardless of how many reverts you have made; that is to say, editors are not automatically "entitled" to three reverts.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you engage in an edit war, you may be blocked from editing. -FASTILY (TALK) 23:04, 7 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]
