Rutka's Notebook

Have reintroduced this paragraph - hope you don't mind. I think it is an importance reference point considering it is a significant part of his personal history (and we don't have a lot of information about his person history anyway). If you disagree, lets please discuss it here before deleting it without reason.

The notebook is an important part of the history of those who migrated from Europe to Israel and a specific mention of Be'eri, I think, is worth mentioning in his biography.

Happy to discuss it, though, if you think otherwise.

Sorry to disagree, but I don't think it adds much. Maybe it could be added as a normal referenced text sentence rather than a quote, but in its current form it is kind of confusing (why are the "six from Bezdin" important?) and which Migdal (there are several) did he found. пﮟოьεԻ 57 08:12, 16 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I think it's a good reference to make but am more than happy with the context in which it is now included. Thanks for your input; the new citation works nicely. Stalwart111 (talk) 07:33, 17 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Teveth

Could I point out that Teveth (Shabtai Teveth, "Ben-Gurion's Spy." 1996. ISBN 0 231 10464 2.) gives a very different account of Be'eri's part in the execution of Tubiansky. He describes Benyamin Gively as "Presiding judge, prosecutor, witness, executioner, and record-keeper." page 44. Padres Hana (talk) 13:31, 28 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]
