Not sure if you're ever visited a bookstore, but Wired magazine is actually published in hard copy (and has been for many years). So the correct term is published, not posted. And your edits have a number of typos (as in gratuitous use of periods/full stops where they should not be). For example, doubling the entire text of a quote in both an inline quote and a pull quote looks amateurish. Last time I made a mistake like that, the elder Bush was still president. Also, unless you are willing to create an article on Ms. Roper right now, you should not be linking to a nonexistent article. Please proofread your edits. Thanks. --Coolcaesar (talk) 04:23, 29 October 2014 (UTC)

: I appreciate your feedback and will be sure to proofread my edits more carefully in the future, but I think you’ll be find that people will appreciate your feedback even more if you use a more civil tone. And I see on your talk-page that I’m hardly the first one to comment on your attitude either. I’ve made contributions to four articles on this place. You’ve contributed to more than a hundred. You’ll forgive me if my quotation syntax isn’t perfect. Furthermore, when the elder Bush was president, I wasn't even born. --Manes (talk) 15:27, 29 October 2014 (UTC)

My article was deleted due to copyright reasons. "you cannot just copy text from Wikia without citing it" But I wrote all of the wikia articles about the character. Therefore, i am the author and the holder of any eventual copyright. Would it matter if i rewrote the wikipedia article so that it feature the same content with different words? It sounds like my article was deleted due to a technicality. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Furthermore, many animated characters like Woody (Toy Story) and Alex (Madagascar)have their own wikipedia articles. There is no reason in the world Bolt shouldn't have one too.

PS: Am I allowed to upload screenshots from the movie in question? I've seen several articles with screenshots from movies and computer games.

License tagging for File:009 - Cat Inquiry 43.png

Thanks for uploading File:009 - Cat Inquiry 43.png. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 21:05, 15 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Image tagging for File:Characters bolt.jpg.jpeg.jpeg

Thanks for uploading File:Characters bolt.jpg.jpeg.jpeg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from or who created it. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Wikipedia, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.

Thank you for uploading File:Visdev img 9.jpg.jpeg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright and licensing status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Armbrust WrestleMania XXVII Undertaker 19–0 21:57, 15 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (File:009_-_Cat_Inquiry_43.png)

Thanks for uploading File:009_-_Cat_Inquiry_43.png. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Melesse (talk) 23:38, 15 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Reduced Non free images

I have reverted the image File:009 - Cat Inquiry 43.png back to reduced image size. To allow for the use of copyrighted works or possible copyrighted works not released as free-use, we reduce the image to an appropriate lower resolution (usually under 600 x 600px) Please take a look at Wikipedia:Non-free content or feel free to reach me or any other editor familiar with images if you have any questions or concerns regarding this action. Fair use rationale for File:Bolt1-copy.JPG.jpeg

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Bolt1-copy.JPG.jpeg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Bolt (character), you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Epiphany and Chris Sanders (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Proposal for the Creation of an Animation Barnstar

Hi, Carlminez. I noticed that you are a member of the Animation WikiProject and wanted to share a proposal with you. There have been several times that I have wanted to award an Animation Barnstar to a fellow editor, only to be disappointed that one still doesn't exist. The closest thing that we have right now is the Film Barnstar, but this is only applicable in certain situations, since animation can be found in both film and television. I would like to see an Animation Barnstar become a reality; especially since one already exists for the sub-topic of Anime and Manga. In order for this to become official though, a consensus will have to be reached.

If this is something that you would be interested in supporting, then please let me know on my talk page, as I am sending this message to all of the members of the Animation WikiProject and will not be adding each editor's talk page to my watchlist.

I am also looking for someone who would be able to provide a design for the barnstar. If you have any ideas for this, then please do not hesitate to share them with me. :) --Jpcase (talk) 01:27, 8 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Errors in your recent edits

Not sure if you're ever visited a bookstore, but Wired magazine is actually published in hard copy (and has been for many years). So the correct term is published, not posted. And your edits have a number of typos (as in gratuitous use of periods/full stops where they should not be). For example, doubling the entire text of a quote in both an inline quote and a pull quote looks amateurish. Last time I made a mistake like that, the elder Bush was still president. Also, unless you are willing to create an article on Ms. Roper right now, you should not be linking to a nonexistent article. Please proofread your edits. Thanks. --Coolcaesar (talk) 04:23, 29 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I appreciate your feedback and will be sure to proofread my edits more carefully in the future, but I think you’ll be find that people will appreciate your feedback even more if you use a more civil tone. --Manes (talk) 15:27, 29 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that you've added some links pointing to disambiguation pages. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.
