Claudine Beccarie

According to Iafd Claudine Beccarie has appeared in one pornographic film. If you ask me, that's not notable enough to be on this list. I think we should remove her, anyone oppose? - Duane 06:58, 13 August 2006 (UTC)

Notability

What is the criteria for the notability of a porn actress? Just realized that an old favorite (Anna Marek who was all over the web in the late 90s) was deleted and protected as non-notable. Ridiculous really. Hundreds of photo shoots not good enough? MadMaxDog 07:09, 12 October 2006 (UTC)

Anna Marek deleted as non-notable? That's bizarre. She had (has?) a dedicated Usenet group. I don't get it.

Softcore/Roman Porno?

Improving the article

I recommend we take up Ceyockey's suggestions at the AfD, the third of which was to specify this list as by year of debut. I've just added debut years to the Japanese actresses. For the one actress (Naomi Tani) who was very prominent in the decade after her debut, I've added mention of that. If all entries have a debut year, we can then arrange them within year under the decade headings. Once smaller year headings have been set up, we might want to break the listing down from the 3-column format into single columns, which would allow better notation after each actress, for mention of year of retirement, etc. I also recommend decade summaries at the top of each section. I'll start ones for the Japanese industry, and hope others will follow suit for the U.S., and other countries (and genres). Dekkappai 20:46, 19 April 2007 (UTC)

This list is WOEFULLY inadequate

This doesn't even begin to scratch the surface. It's a shameful addition... although, I admit, better than nothing at all. If I could do it I would. I can't. I just have fond memories.

C'mon folks... surely someone out there can really add to this list meaningfully.

This is a potentially important list, to a lot of us... I was always told that if I had a question or an issue, at least 50% of the others in my class did, too... well I know this list is sorely lacking... and how many millions of people represent my "class" these days? Please... let's get it right, huh?

I have now removed all unnamed sources of living people as clearly nobody wnated to source them in the nearly 3 months since I wrote the above. I'm not an expert on what constitutes a reliable source and I used the exact same sources as found in List of African-American pornographic actors which you SqueakBox suggested above. Before you post a warning on my talk page, double-check your own foolish mistakes because I followed your own suggestion for what you consider a reliable source. If you are not an expert on rleiable sources you should not be editing this article. I have removed all unsourced names of likely living ppl, they can of course be resotred with either a ref or evidence that the person is now dead. Somebody violated BLP restoring these unsourced names, this is a blockable offence. BLP does not demand IO discuss these removals but if you want to add any withoutr a ref you are welcome to discuss the issue, ideally at the BLP noticeboard♫ SqueakBox talk contribs 14:52, 2 August 2014 (UTC)
