Design Competition

Preliminary designs few new terminal are out, well one of 12 or so designs. http://i347.photobucket.com/albums/p458/krzamak/2779982933_a5c05f05ca_o.jpg http://i347.photobucket.com/albums/p458/krzamak/2780840110_1a9de23c5b_o.jpg http://i347.photobucket.com/albums/p458/krzamak/2780840208_cf573cee14_o.jpg

I don't think it stands a chance of wining the competition, brief was, Mediterranean looks, colors and feel, as well as 12-16 Jetways and terminal size 70-80 000sqm. But it should give you idea of what some architects where thinking.Mic of orion (talk) 18:44, 20 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

JAL

Should we add JAL charter flights as well, JAL announced they'll increase number of Charter flights this season, they plan to fly 04 times to Zagreb in July, August and early Septembear, can someone verify this and post relevant info about it, thanx :)

Korean Air is also starting 4 charter flights this year and JAL is to increase its frequency to one flight a week over summer months, last year it had 8 charter flights, this means this year it might have 12 or 16 flights to Croatia.

Missing images

Who and why removed some of the images from the gallery? Please don t do this again. Mate Balota 01:02, 12 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I removed them for reasons that I have stated in your talk page. Elektrik Blue 82 01:52, 12 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Citations

For Wizz Air, search on www.poslovni.hr for "Wizz Air podnio zahtjev za bazu na Plesu";

Delta - scan of article is here: http://forum.croplus.net/viewtopic.php?t=1825&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=15; (interview with Zagreb Airport CEO) ANA - it's on printed edition of Jutarnji list newspapper (information from Croatian National Tourist board)

Pity about the Delta thing, yep NO Delta flights.Mic of orion (talk) 13:37, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Charter Flights

Please stop! It is all around few charter flights. If possible live it now and after last JAL-747 take off from Zagreb airport I'll remove it from the Article.--D tomcro 18:09, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

EasyJet flights

Not sure how wikipedia functions on corrections, but the destination airports listed under EasyJet are all wrong. EasyJet DOES NOT fly from Zagreb to London Luton (Wizzair used to do it, the service has been discontinued. EasyJet does fly to LONDON GATWICK (beginning February 11th), there's also a service to PARIS CHARLES DE GAULLE which has been running since December 2010, and another one to DORTMUND in Germany - this service begins on February 17th. All this information is confirmed on www.easyjet.com - it pops up during ticket booking procedures as long as you put ZAGREB as an origin airport. — Preceding unsigned comment added by PowerLock (talkcontribs)

El Al

It says here (http://airlineroute.net/2014/01/14/ly-zag-feb14/) that El Al is resuming flights here. Can anyone provide a source saying that flights are operated under the Sun D'Or brand. 68.119.73.36 (talk) 01:32, 23 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I was trying to tell you that those flights didn't end and they were operated last year and year before that and year before that. Airline Route does it every year (i don't know why) and posts that Sun d'Or resumes the flights to Zagreb. Now, Those flights are operated by El Al BUT under Sun d'Or brand (now it's a brand and not an airline).I'm attaching some proofs: From one of Israel's popular news website (from LAST YEAR) - http://megafon-news.co.il/asys/archives/126346 From Sun d'Or's website-http://www.sundor.co.il/sundor/translations/iw/flights/zagreb.html (It says that those flights are operated by el al by sun dor brand and from Ben Gurion Airport:http://www.iaa.gov.il/Rashat/Templates/InsidePages/ScheduleFlightsTemplate.aspx?NRMODE=Published&NRNODEGUID=%7b5EEC3F49-5BF9-41B0-A8E1-103377B5F266%7d&NRORIGINALURL=%2fRashat%2fen-US%2fAirports%2fBenGurion%2fInformationforTravelers%2fScheduleFlights%2ehtm&NRCACHEHINT=Guest (click on El Al->Zagreb) --Friends147 (talk) 02:09, 23 January 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Change the name of article to Zagreb International Airport

Please consider changing name from "Zagreb Airport" to "Zagreb International Airport" because Zagreb International Airport is it official name.
