It's unlikely that an administrator will see this note here. To get a faster response, you can use Wikipedia:Requests for page protection. This page is currently semi-protected, and full protection so that only admins can edit it doesn't appear necessary at this point. Deli nk (talk) 11:06, 12 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

grounded videos

In 2011, a goanimate video was made called "how to ground someone!!!". It spawned more remakes featuring different people getting grounded for random reasons for multiple years. These videos were heavily criticized Thus causing goanimate to remove various themes that were used to make these videos plus "barney errors" and fetish videos. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.12.69.107 (talkcontribs)

If you unprotect the page then I'll add this to the article.

@68.12.69.107: If you can provide reliable sources then we will go ahead and add the content. However I highly doubt this'll happen as it doesn't appear of notability and I doubt you'll find the sources. CatcherStorm talk 22:43, 15 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@:@Catcherstorm:: http://goanimate.wikia.com/wiki/Grounded%20Videos only one I could find.the only other sources were removed or deleted.

Regards, flainzumaklonoarules. (Sorry for bad username LOL)

Wikia...um...yeah... that can't be a source.... at all. It's even more editable by anyone than Wikipedia, in my opinion. Zeke Essiestudy (talk) 15:55, 7 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

GoAnimate article need full protection...

GoAnimate

indefinite full protection From semi-protection to full indefinite protection that only admins can edit it. It's considerably a high-risk article/template 112.209.86.65 (talk) 05:54, 15 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Declined. Please stop making pointless protection requests all over the place. --NeilN talk to me 06:27, 18 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Notability

Can anyone find better sources than the one-two mentions in Washington Post? Did the company receive in-depth coverage anywhere else? --Piotr Konieczny aka Prokonsul Piotrus| reply here 06:45, 19 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Images "not approved by site"

Several images were removed from article with the explanation that they were "not approved by site". Does this mean that an editor from GoAnimate is attempting to control content of this page? If so, that is contrary to Wikipedia policy. If an explanation isn't forthcoming, I'll add the images back in. Deli nk (talk) 12:33, 16 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Deli nk: I went ahead and did it for you. This specific subject (GoAnimate) is susceptible to all sorts of misinformation and nonsense by kids that are heavy into children's television. The reason why is that, as Wikipedia says, it is targeted towards business people, "designed to allow business people with no background in animation to quickly and easily create animated videos", but the audience it actually has is... astonishing. Just take a look. Even add "grounded", "dead meat", "held back", "nappies", the list goes on, to the search bar. That's why I feel as though this page should be indefinitely semi-protected, but there's unfortunately no reason for that as things stand. Zeke Essiestudy (talk) 19:15, 22 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Heck, today, an IP tried restoring a revision they deliberately preferred that was baseless (speculating the site would move to HTML5 with no proof) and had insignificant details (such as the Facebook login button being removed) that did not benefit the article, and it was also 4 months outdated. :/ Zeke Essiestudy (talk) 19:27, 22 February 2016 (UTC)[reply]

If you would like to make a request for page protection, WP:RFPP is where you should go, not here. JudgeRM 19:21, 17 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
