Somewhat ironically given the 2012 discussion on the Homestuck "silliness" above, Dante Basco now appears to be working with What Pumpkin, having joined the creative team behind Homestuck in order to help produce a new wave of content known as "Homestuck 2.0". Basco discusses this himself, variously in [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wxGDu0xcZKA this] interview with Looter News (6:51), and now in [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SxHnKT_2u64 this] longer video where he is acting as an official representative of the What Pumpkin creative team. He's also spoken about this elsewhere, and it seems to be one of the major projects he's currently dedicating himself to. Given this, and Homestuck's own notability in the webcomics scene, possibly this should be worth a mention in the article. I can't find many external sources about this as the announcement video in question is less than 12 hours old, but I believe that notable persons are acceptable as primary source references about themselves? Assuming this even needs a reference for a quick note that he now is working with the Homestuck team on new projects. == Most famous for ==

Much as I love Hook, I think at this point he is most famous for voicing Zuko. In terms of how many people that series reached versus how popular Hook was.

You are forgetting his role in the Filipino-American movie "The Debut" as Ruben "Ben" he was also in the 1995 live-action movie "Fist of the North Star" as "Bat"

For the love of god someone build this man a filmography board. RUFIO. Sorry, had to add it. H2P (Yell at me for what I've done) 08:34, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Done! Now what's missing is his personal biography, if it can be found. Tinlinkin 11:08, 31 July 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I doubt it. Well, nothing we could source anyway. Man is as mysterious as the characters he plays. H2P (Yell at me for what I've done) 06:19, 8 August 2006 (UTC)[reply]

this guy is an embarresment, try hard.

9th or 29th?? :S

Mistakenly, in this article's template it says his B'day is 9th August 1975. But at the begining of the article, i meant in his introduction it says his B'day is 29th August 1975. Well, even on IMDb it says his B'day is 29th August 1975. (Same as mine :D :P :P)

hehehe!!

Well guys, Im changing it!!

Thanks!!

Aging?

I just saw a trailer for Take the Lead (2006). This man at 31 looks and sounds exactly as he did at 16 (when he starred as Rufio in Hook).

Is there any abnormal medical reason for this, (as in the cases of Gary Coleman and Emmanuel Lewis), or is he just a naturally young looking/sounding person? --JohnDoe0007 (talk) 12:30, 23 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As far as I am aware of, no. I think he's just naturally good looking. Kinda like how Johnny Depp still looks amazing and nothing like a typical person in their 40s. xD Caterfree10 (talk) 04:50, 18 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Homestuck

I see that the article is currently locked for editing, but the silliness of the 'and reading Homestuck' is still there. I think that should be edited out by a custodian. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 173.66.9.238 (talk) 23:42, 26 February 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Oh how I tire of hearing members on Wikipedia decide for themselves that things are not notable. Why, exactly, is the mention about Homestuck not notable here? He is a fairly present character in it, acknowledges it, and has had many discussions about his favor and interest in the comic on his Tumblr. 8472 (talk) 12:07, 30 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Occupation

I'm no expert, but I'm pretty sure that the job "Fire Lord" isn't a real one on planet Earth, so I removed it. Avatar: The Last Airbender isn't real, kids, and neither is The Legend of Korra. -Malus X (talk) 03:49, 4 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
