The United States Air Force's 1st Air Support Operations Squadron (1 ASOS) was a combat support unit located at Wiesbaden, Germany. The 1 ASOS provides Tactical Command and Control of air power assets to the Joint Forces Air Component Commander and Joint Forces Land Component Commander for combat operations. In March 2011, when the 1st Armored Division was relocated back to the United States, 1ASOS was officially dissolved and the mission was taken over by the 4th ASOS.
