Rollback

I have granted the "rollbacker" permission to your account. After a review of some of your contributions, I believe you can be trusted to use rollback for its intended usage of reverting vandalism, and that you will not abuse it by reverting good-faith edits or to revert-war. For information on rollback, see Wikipedia:Administrators' guide/Rollback and Wikipedia:Rollback feature. If you do not want rollback, contact me and I will remove it. Good luck and thanks. – Gilliam (talk) 11:07, 5 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Citation bot

Hi, just to let you know that the script you are running using User:Citation bot is changing the parameter BBC Sport uses from |publisher= to |newspaper=. Mattythewhite (talk) 15:01, 6 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop, or at least watch what you're doing. This one changed the correct publisher=BBC Sport to use |newspaper= and added (usefully) the publication date, but in the format 2014-11-04 rather than 4 November 2014 as used in the rest of the citations. Thanks, Struway2 (talk) 15:39, 6 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
BBC Sport is certainly not a newspaper, I will check all the bot's edits and see what's wrong like Sone Aluko. I see that a bug has already been reported. Iggy (Swan) 16:05, 6 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for going back and reverting them. Much appreciated. Struway2 (talk) 17:23, 6 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Yes I do believe that this caused more damage than what it previously was. I wasn't aware of this BBC Sport issue until I came back on here just after 16:00 UTC. Iggy (Swan) 17:29, 6 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you...

...for this. Appreciated, Struway2 (talk) 12:22, 27 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
