Imran Abbas is a Pakistani actor, singer and former model.He started his career in 1993 with drama Aagosh.He is known for his roles in TV serials Meri Zaat Zarra-e-Benishan (2009), Khuda Aur Muhabbat (2011), Akbari Asghari (2011), Dil-e-Muztar (2013), Alvida (2015), Mera Naam Yusuf Hai (2015) Tum Kon Piya (2016), Mohabbat Tumse Nafrat Hai (2017) and Koi Chand Rakh Meri Shaam Par (2018).[2][3] Abbas made his film debut in the 2013 romantic drama Anjuman. The following year, he appeared in Bollywood's monster horror film Creature 3D, which earned him Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut nomination.
Early life and career
Abbas studied architecture at the National College of Arts in Lahore. He also writes Urdu poetry.[4] His family settled in Lahore, Pakistan, after the independence in 1947.[5][6] Abbas appeared in Pakistani dramas, telefilms, soaps and films.[7] He has also appeared in Bollywood productions.[8][9]
Bollywood career
Abbas made his debut in Bollywood opposite Bipasha Basu in Vikram Bhatt's Creature 3D, for which he was nominated at Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut category.[10] In 2015, Abbas featured in Jaanisaar directed by Muzaffar Ali alongside Pernia Qureshi.[11]
