Welcome!

Hello, Vishal1976, and welcome to Wikipedia! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions. Again, welcome! --HartzR 12:41, 26 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

How thick can you get?

Firstly deleting somebodys relevant comments from talkpages is considered vandalism and you can get banned for that. Secondly please STOP spouting poorly researched semi-mytical pseudo-historical crap over wikipedia. You are becoming a liability. Hi again

Thank you for your kind message, Vishal. I am happy you like my work. In that page, still there is LOT of work to do, I will do it by and by. Now, you are adding the information on Shake-karta kings etc on the talk-pages. Long time ago, I had put that same essay in the same words in the [[Vedic timeline] page. That page is correct place for shake-karta kings. You will surely agree. Please see that page. One more small matter. Always when tou come to Wikipedia, you should LOGIN to your account, which is Vishal1976. Then your name will come in your signature, if you make four times the '~' mark. Please use the system. Best regards, ImpuMozhi 18:03, 6 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Your rant on ImpuMozhi's page

OH so i am an idiot here? I will refrain from making personal attacks Vishal but it YOU who are acting like one here. For starters you need to take more English (and Computer) lessons. Making personal attacks can get you banned. Your knowldege of our history basically comes from myths. You certainly do not suscribe to impartial and objective examination of history. Please note i have nothing against you its just that whatever work you submit should have factual basis for it otherwise i WILL delete it with extreme prejudice. Myth in History

Dear Vishal,

Adding mythology to the history will make it worst. I request you to avoid all this. The references from "Moredada", I don't feel are correct. (I respect him a lot for what he is doing for community.) But considering the words from history will be more better.

Please try to avoid myth from pages. --Jai 03:19, 8 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:From Vishal Prakash Dudhane.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:From Vishal Prakash Dudhane.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

Do you want some help with Maratha Class System?

Looking at the page history, it seems like you are doing a huge amount of work. The article is very difficult and complex. I could help you organize and copyedit the article if you like. You would have to give me feedback as I don't know anything about the Martha Claas System nor how you want the article organized. Mattisse(talk) 13:13, 11 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Project tags

You have removed the India project tags from some talk pages. By removing them, you are undoing other's work. Please don't do it anymore. Regards, Ganeshk (talk) 07:17, 9 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Vishal, Importance parameter is part the India project's Assessment department. It can have Top, High, Mid and Low parameters. When someone sets the importance as Low does not mean they are insulting the article. It just means that the article has low importance at an over-all project level. State articles have Top importance and so on. Same with Class. Class defines the quality of the article. Again the intent is not to insult, it helps judge pages that need attention and improvement. We are all here to build an encyclopedia. Let's just do that. Please let me know if you have any more questions. And once again, I request you not to remove the project banner from talk pages. - Ganeshk (talk) 16:50, 10 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I am also working on the Mahadji Shinde piece. Apprciate your effort. Would like to keep in touch via email. User:Holy_Warrior_Tej Holy Warrior Tej 11:02, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi

Dear Vishal, a long time ago (7th september) you had written this message to me. I am getting it now. This is because I was busy in my real-life work and I never logged on to Wikipedia for three months. So I am sorry that I did not see the message and reply sooner. Vishal, there is no quarrel between us and never there has been a quarrel. Please do not think like that. I always think of you as a friend and I hope that you also think of me as a friend. Please do good work on wikipedia and do not get into any arguments with anybody because it is waste of time and it has no effect. Thank you for the friendly message. I wish you all the best. Madhavrao I Scindia

Hello. Before making potentially controversial edits, such as those you made to Madhavrao I Scindia, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Otherwise, people might consider your edits to be vandalism. Thank you. nkayesmith 08:48, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Kadamba

Dear Vishal, Please dont put question marks in the article. If you have any questions, feel free to ask me on my talk page. I will be soon embarking on major work on this page with my other sources like "Kadamba Kula" by Dr. George Moraes which includes Kadambas of Banavasi (the original kingdom), Kadambas of Hanagal (Haveri district) and Kadambas of Goa and a host of ancient minor Kadamba clans who ruled from/in Karnataka. In fact all the mentioned reference sources (Dr. Kamath, Dr. K.V.Ramesh) are also books I own and source from. All this work I have mentioned may take more than a month.Enjoy!!Dineshkannambadi 14:40, 29 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sir

I embedded the excellent image that you provided in Pehlwani. Thank you for your contributions. Best regards. Freedom skies 06:10, 1 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Shudra Status of Maratha

The Maratha caste which is considered to be upper caste to Kunbi, Mang, Mahar Or Bhangi is practically lower caste to Brahmins. How can you call a coolie, clerk as Kshtriya? Only warriors are Kshatriyas. Not the Hamals on Mumbai street. So all non-Brahmins are Shudras. If they have any problem to their shudra status they can convert to any other religion. Nobody has asked them to remain SHUDRA in Hindu Religion. Even though I born a Brahmins I accept my Shudra Status. Hindushudra 15:12, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you

Sir, it would be great if you could contribute images of Pehlwani wrestlers in exercise (practicing Hindu squats, with mudgals etc.) or in a wrestling bout. It would also be very helpful if you could provide more images of commonwealth champions.

Extending best regards as always, Freedom skies 06:59, 6 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]
