Emiway Bantai
- Please Sir
Sir, The title Sir Emiway Bantai is protected by administrators. So I made a draft titled Emiway Bantai (rapper). But later I came to know that this title is also protected. I request you to review the Draft:Emiway Bantai (rapper) and publish its correct title in Emiway Bantai. 223.189.188.244 (talk) 06:30, 18 October 2020 (UTC)
- Athaenara isn't a Sir, and who are you? I don't need to know exactly who you are, but I need to know whether you are somebody connected to the subject, Emiway Bantai, or somebody hired to write this article. Jehochman Talk 21:08, 18 October 2020 (UTC)
- The draft seems good enough to establish notability. I see that the subject has 11m YouTube followers and has been covered by multiple independent sources. I will wait for Athaenara to comment before taking any other actions. Jehochman Talk 21:17, 18 October 2020 (UTC)
Jehochman I did not know that he is not sir. I'm sorry. I made the draft just as a fan of them and I have nothing to do with that person. And if I tell myself, I am not a lifetime on Wikipedia. Just use it sometimes. So I did not create an account. I hope you understand. 223.238.137.134 (talk) 00:38, 19 October 2020 (UTC)
- Unprotect the title
Hello, Emiway Bantai has been protected by you and has become a Draft: Emiway Bantai (rapper) draft by this name, which is worth publishing. But the draft article title is also protected by administrators. I spoke to other administrators on this subject, but because of being protected by you, they ask for your permission. So, please unprotect Emiway Bantai so that the article can be published. Thank you TechToker (talk) 04:51, 24 October 2020 (UTC)
- Creating page for Emiway Bantai
Hi, I would like to create a page for Emiway Bantai and I see you have "protected" it almost two years ago. Bantai has become more relevant in the interim, as evidenced by the following news article from a few months ago in a major Indian newspaper: https://indianexpress.com/article/entertainment/music/rapper-emiway-bantai-career-songs-corona-khatam-karona-videos-6343577/. How can I create a page for Emiway, given his significance in the Indian music industry? Thanks. Arcenciel (talk) 15:52, 8 January 2021 (UTC)

Athaenara is reading her talk page messages but, under the recent site-wide strictures (see https://en.wikipedia.org/sec-warning), not editing or logging in until OS updates or a replacement computer enable it. Unblocking Draft:D'Angelo Wallace
Hey there, I'm looking to rewrite the D'Angelo Wallace draft using a few sources which have come out since the draft article was deleted (eg this Insider article) in a more NPOV. Hi. Not sure if you were aware when you deleted the above article that there was an AfD pending, which was trending strongly to "keep". See Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pennridge–Quakertown Thanksgiving Day Football Classic and discussion at User talk:Cbl62#Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Pennridge–Quakertown Thanksgiving Day Football Classic. Rather than speedy delete, I suggest the AfD continue. Would you mind reverting your deletion so the process can run its course? Cbl62 (talk) 05:39, 19 November 2020 (UTC)

please correspond with me - i respond to a call in wikipedia to more comprehensively cover 501c3s - i donate and contribute and I don't get feedback for a good-faith response to a call from wikipedia to contribute? This is absurd. The notability is baked-in; the IRS 501c3; you have deleted irresponsibly. you owe me feedback. this is why wikipedia is falling behind in the collection of comprehensive information. You need to invest more in reviewing; as noted in the talk sections.

Hi Athaenara. You deleted the draft Draft:Mohammad Heidar Khamsehei Fadaei as G11. However, I wonder if the content survived in the author's sandbox (User:Moh13359/sandbox) and then made it to the article space as Mohammad Heidar Khamsehei Fadaei? Would you be able to compare them to the deleted draft and see if either or both of them is equally speedy-worthy? Thanks. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 19:56, 3 December 2020 (UTC)
- @Drm310: It is autobiographical résumé spam with fewer rough edges than in the earlier draft, which had things like "He received my Associate's Degree", "The main research in my M.Sc. studies", "He have several years of solid experience", and "He have strengthened his professional skills". As is quite normal for post-undergrads in engineering, he wrote a few papers (some published in journals, some presented at conferences) on his way to getting his masters degree.
- I don't know whether he's angling for a place in a doctoral program or for a job, but that's not really our concern here: this is an encyclopedia, not a résumé listing or employment service. – Athaenara ✉ 22:00, 3 December 2020 (UTC)

- @SophieGermian: You may feel you've done the right thing here, in your role as publicist (or whatever the job title is) for Guenther, but you did not reply to the messages on your talk page, nor have you indicated that you read any of the guidelines linked in those messages and in the deletion log for the page you wrote. Those links were provided to fully inform you of the reasons. I think you should rethink your intention to promote your client here, and let what notability she may have, if it is sufficient, surface in a more legitimate way. – Athaenara ✉ 07:20, 7 December 2020 (UTC)
- @Athaenara: Hi, I'm not sure where you verified your guess that I'm a publicist. I am definitely not a publicist. And I didn't know that I was supposed to reply to messages on my talk page. The only message I got was one informing me of a "Speedy Deletion" tag and I followed its instructions to contest the nomination. I edited the draft to remove any subjective elements and commented on those edits in the talk of the draft, according to the guidelines for section G11. I didn't know there was a deletion log for the page itself. Please help? — Preceding unsigned comment added by SophieGermian (talk • contribs) 13:07, 7 December 2020 (UTC)

Please restore Creately
I created the article Creately couple of weeks back. I had seen another editor did not like it and placed promotional tag on the article. I tried to address the concern and sought for help but no one helped me. I could not login in Wikipedia for last week for the festive time and now when I logged in I found the page has been deleted by you. The software is an old software among diagram making tool which has several references in books, journals, well known news sites and so forth. Can you please restore the page as I think it has it should have its place in Wikipedia being notable. Regarding promotional content removal, please guide me so that I can remove or rewrite problematic part. user:Waggers advised me to read WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS, which I did and it said my argumentation in favor of an article can not be 'based solely on what other articles do or do not exist' which was never my argument. My primary emphasis was the software is very notable and why in spite of being notable it can not have its place where there are pages with inferior references and notability and if the tone or language of the article I wrote was promotional, then many other articles should be accused in same manner. - Deletion of "Mark Bacino" Page Inquiry
Hello Athaenara,
I hope this message finds you well.
I'm writing to respectfully inquire about your recent deletion (Dec. 2020) of my article, "Mark Bacino." Your note of deletion cites that the article was in violation due to it being promotional in nature. I wish to respectfully dispute the deletion of the article as I view the page as a properly referenced/sourced, chronological history of my (hopefully ;) notable work as an artist (commercially released singer-songwriter, producer, published journalist) throughout the years. I believe my piece is of value as it provides detailed background information and context to the work I've created for the benefit of those who may be interested in said work. I also believe my article is written no differently in style or tone than numerous similar pieces devoted to many of my fellow, more well-known artists-musicians.
Please see the following for higher profile examples of similar articles that could also be misconstrued, if one desired, not as documenting the history of a commercial artist's body of work (as I see them), but also as "promotional" in nature -
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeff_Tweedy
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billy_Bragg
I'm hoping that we might be able to discuss the matter further, with you offering some specific detail concerning the article's faults, as you see them, for revision purposes. I'm also hoping that you might kindly review the article once again and consider reinstating the piece after comparing it to other similar articles and the common, stylistic standards which those illustrate and set.
On a personal note, I'm disheartened to see the article removed as I've cultivated the piece over the years and was hoping for it to be kept in place, not as a promotional vehicle by any means, but as an ongoing and future resource/historical document.
Thanks for your time. I look forward to hearing from you.
Best, Mark Bacino QueensEnglish (talk) 10:22, 6 January 2021 (UTC)

- Thanks!
Thanks for your uncivil and snarky response to my polite inquiry. By the nature of your comment you seem to thoroughly enjoy the exercise of tearing people down rather then helping them understand the rules of this environment. If I would have known that the act of updating an article written about me was "illegal" in the Wikipedia world, I would have gladly offered my identity as a page editor (if that's what you're supposed to do). Now, as a result of my mistake, I'm subject to snide, unhelpful comments and the deletion of the article without the chance to correct my missteps. Well done, Athaenara!
