The drama is about the Nawab Family. Nawab Sahab had two wives - Naik Parwar and Naik Bakht. Nawab Sahab treated them both equally and they live in adjacent houses, one called the "Nawab House" where Naik Bakht lived and the other one was "Nawab Villa" where Naik Parwar lived. The two wives had never-ending conflicts between them because Nawab Sahab married Naik Bakht only after two months of his wedding with Naik Parwar. Both Naik Parwar and Naik Bakht had two kids, Naik Parwar had two sons: Kamil and Kifayat. The elder son Kamil passed away leaving a wife Kishwar and two sons: Haadi and Waleed. The younger son Kifayat had a poultry farm business and was so penny pinching and his wife Kaneez was always interested in cleaning the house. They had two daughters: Muniha (Meenu) and Muniba (Mirchi). Naik Bakht had one son and one daughter. Her daughter lived in Toronto with her family. Her son Ibrahim and his wife passed away when they went to perform pilgrim leaving three daughters and a son. The elder daughter Gul-e-Rana and son Faaz Ibrahim aka Faazi were twins but Gul-e-Rana was only a minute elder. The younger sister was Ramisha (Mishi) and the youngest was Rameen (Roomi).
When Gul-e-Rana's parents passed away, she was married to the Naik Bakht's nephew Miskeen and they were married for 5 years till then but were not able to conceive a child, while the youngest sister Rameen was married to Arman aka Mani. Miskeen and Armaan also often had fights between them. Although Gul was married, she lived in her parents house. Her husband had to live like a "Ghar Damaad". They were all finding a suitable match for their only brother Faazi. He wanted a sensible and mature life-partner, but the three sisters disliked every girl. Ramisha aka Mishi the middle one, was more sensible than her other sisters and she also had a crush on Haadi.
On the other hand, Meenu was a carefree girl who hated studies. Her father wanted her to do BSc, Mathematics but Meenu kept failing. Kifayat had Faazi to take tuition for Meenu. She wanted to get rid of her studies. Haadi and Faazi were also best buddies and were still single. Faazi worked in a pesticides company but Haadi was unemployed. Soon, Faazi's Aunt called Kishwar and told her about a girl that she will marry Haadi and their nikkah will be online. Haadi will then move to Canada and there he will work in his father's restaurant. Everyone is happy with the wedding but Mishi was unhappy as she loved Haadi. However, On the night of wedding the girl Ainy calls Haadi and tells him that she can't marry him as she has married someone in the court and she can't tell her parents. Everyone was devastated hearing this but Mishi was not.
One day, a family came to see Faaz. They were also finding a match for their only daughter Haania who was a sensible girl just like Faaz demanded. They were also finding a girl for their son Asher. Amma and Gul thought that it would be perfect if Faazi and Mishi get married in the same house. Amma called Mishi to bring the sugar pot but Meenu was also there to get some patti. Mishi asked Meenu to take the sugar pot to drawing room. Meenu went into the drawing room and slipped. Mr.&Mrs. Amjad thought she is the perfect match for their son. They went to Meenu's house to ask her hand for their son. They asked some time to think. Babay thought of doing istakhara but the result came out bad. Then Meenu asked Kishwar to do it herself and the result was good so they decided to marry Meenu to Asher. Asher, one day, came to Meenu's house and saw that Meenu is an immature girl bit still he agreed to marry. On Meenu and Faazi's wedding, it is revealed that Asher is a married man and has three daughters and he was marrying Meenu only for son. The Nawab Family then told them that they will not marry their daughter in such a family. For the sake of honour of Nawab Family, they all decide to marry Faazi and Meenu despite their will. After the wedding, Babay and Amma think that they have not done a good thing. But slowly Faazi and Meenu start to fall in love with each other. Haadi also starts falling in love with Mishi.
