Astro Switch On
Hi Theroadislong,
I was wondering what you mean by independent sources? I would think that the article that was released by their label would be considered independent? The first source that I used was from naver which was declined because apparently that was not reliable. Should I include the link from their official twitter account to make sure that this article gets approved? I mean I looked up their previous articles from their past albums and the naver source was approved there... Let me know thank you!
RE My Rupert Gather Article
Hi Theroadislong,
I was just wondering if you could give me some more insight into what I need to do to make my article publishable? I notice on one of the links you say that its not he right type of link or something, is there a youtube video you could direct me to that can explain how to change that?
Thanks,
Christian
Draft: Naosaku Takahashi
Hi again Theroadislong,
I deleted the first one fron Japanese Wikipedia. Thanks. The other two are from the home pages of still existing institutes for the needy, which were established by Naosaku Takahashi. By the way, as Naosaku Takahashi is a historikal figure (1886-1976), his Website informaton is limited. However, Naosaku Takahashi was an important figure of social work in Japan, during and after the war, WWII. Unfortunately, his writings, including his autobiography, and critical evaluations were published in Japanese only. But I, IyataYada, tried to cite the limited literature which is housed in National Diet Library of Japan; and CiNii of National Institute of Informatics, Japan, for everyone's reference to reach out the original sources. Although he is not a famous in the U.S.A. and other foreign countries, I belive that this English version will help the English speaking people in the Wikipedia community.
Best regards, IyataYada
Thanks!
Thanks for the message. I totally did that page wrong--thought I was submitting my user page info. (doh!). Thanks for your support. I'll check it out. I hope I'm doing THIS message correctly. haha
National Environmental Education Foundation
Not clear on what is considered advertising about our entry
Hello. We submitted an entry for the National Environmental Education Foundation. We made sure to source all the information and make sure we included only facts about an organization that was chartered by Congress in the 1990 National Environmental Education Act. I would like to better understand how to improve this as I've followed all the guidance I've read on Wikipedia. John Grandits article draft
Hi Friend, I'm trying to get some feedback on why our Wikipedia draft for children's poet John Grandits was rejected. My daughter and I put it together after she was assigned a research project in school to find biographical details on him. Since he had no Wikipedia page, we created one together (paying pretty careful attention to formatting and criteria). I've looked a bit at the notability guidelines and do think he has enough creative work to be notable. Any more feedback that could help us prove notability-- other than the awards, lists of article and publications? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Draft:John_Grandits
Thank you for providing feedback on Draft:Boris_Maciejovsky
I appreciate the time you took to go over my submitted draft.
In response to your comment, I made some edits to include sources for the biography section.
In footnote 9, I included a link to the library at the University Wien. In footnote 10, I included a link to the PhD thesis at MIT Libraries. In footnote 11, I included a link to the author's CV that lists all previous academic appointments..
Again, many thanks for taking the time to improve the submission!
Draft:Thoughts of the Day
I have read WP:NOTBOOK and found the following criteria: The book has been the subject of two or more non-trivial published works appearing in sources that are independent of the book itself. This can include published works in all forms, such as newspaper articles , other books, television documentaries, bestseller lists, and reviews. This excludes media re-prints of press releases, flap copy, or other publications where the author, its publisher, agent, or other self-interested parties advertise or speak about the book.
Then why asking specifically for book reviews? I am not geeting

Ok I just read in your talk section "Wikipedia is not interested in the truth only reliable sources." Well that explains it. Thanks again..
page of Pradyumna Kishore Bal
Hello there:
We wish to create a page on Mr Pradyumna Kishore Bal who was a very notable personality from Odisha, India. He was an elected Member of Parliament of the Indian general election in 1977. Committed to social causes, Mr Bal founded the newspaper Pragativadi which is still in operation and is considered to be one of the leading dailies in Odisha. The page is intended to carry verifiable facts about Mr Bal. We would love to have it on Wikipedia.
Thank you.

I've made changes to reflect your comments on my COIN-related page
Hi Theroadislong,
Thanks for letting me know that my article submission was too 'advertisy'. I created COIN as an open-source, non-commercial framework, but I guess my enthusiasm got the better of the article. I have rewritten it, and taken out any reference to anything that may sound commercial or advertorial. Just to clear any misconceptions, I have removed the references to my book on the subject.... I'm not doing this to sell books, but because I want people to use and enjoy the open-source framework.
Can you let me know if this is the better style, and publish if so? If not, can you let me know which part specifically is not good enough?
Coverage of the framework is fairly widespread, but within the context of the innovation-management industry.... I guess you need to take into account that this is a fairly small group. The magazines, blogs and conferences that published about COIN are in fact global, leading events. Bear in mind that I have not paid anything to anyone to provide this coverage!
Thank you very much!

Regarding editing of the title
Dear Theroadislong,
Thank you for your comment. I have canceled all the ® in the text and inserted some more professional information but can I leave the ® in the title?
I have read a lot about this brand and I have always found it next to the name. For example on this article from the Red Bull Racing Blog https://www.redbull.com/int-en/redbullracing/in-the-driving-seat-with-playseat
Also, do you have other advises to make it better from a professional point of view?

Urtain Draft from user Malbadi
Dear Theroadislong,
Thank you for your review to my draft. I removed the IMDb reference and only left the references to wellknown newspapers such us The New York Times or spanish newspaper El Mundo. Regarding not qualifying this article as a Wikipedia article, must be a missunderstanding.
Jose Manuel Urtain is listed amon the EBU heavyweight champion in Wikipedia. Is almost the only one of that list that has not his own article, as the rest of the champions have they own page.
Could you pleas help me telling me how can I make the article stronger?

- No but creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged your Draft:Hiram A. Murray is very poorly sourced, for instance the “Early life and education” section has zero sources, EVERY substantive fact requires an independent published source. Theroadislong (talk) 16:36, 10 August 2021 (UTC)

- An admin has already deleted your draft as blatant advertising, we have no interest in " basic information about this company" Wikipedia is not a place to merely tell about something or promote a business. Wikipedia summarizes what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about a topic, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of notability. Please also review conflict of interest. Theroadislong (talk) 11:57, 13 August 2021 (UTC)

Hi Theroadislong - thank you for reviewing and providing feedback.
I'm happy to make any changes but just want to make sure I edit the right things out.
We have modelled the submission on this agency based on other similar agencies, for example the listing for https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huge_(digital_agency)
Also, it is worth noting that the citations used are all independent and respected news and industry news sources in Australia.
I've made a few edits to reduce the text, but let me know if more should be removed.
Thank you in advance for your help.

Article still not published
Dear Theroadislong, My article was still not approved as you have mentioned that it's not worthy for wikipedia and it doesn't have significant coverage. Sidarth sathoo has been covered by Amar Ujala which was started in the year 1999. The athlete itself has created history by becoming the first kashmiri pandit boy to achieve the title of Mr North and Mr Jammu. He also has been covered by 'Rising Kashmir' which is a 13 year old publication which is widely read in Kashmir and North India. Please let me know how these decade old publications are not significant?

Dear editor!
This is representative of the EEU, getting in touch with regards to our mutual work and communication through uploading Wikipedia article of the EEU.
The point of our collaboration was submitting text, fully compatible and harmonized to Wikipedia standards and requirements. Could you please once again review your decision and in case our article is still in need of further updates, indicate the concrete paragraphs not meeting your requirements.

Venturefest
First I have pruned this article to the absolute minimum and provided three credible references - the Financial Times, University of Oxford and the UK government.
Second there is absolutely no promotional angle here and no money, favours etc. have ever taken place. For most of its life the Venturefests have been free, sponsored by charities, government agencies and service providers. Many entrepreneurs have been helped and new businesses started.
The fact that Lord David Sainsbury, then Minister for Industry, and David Cameron, then Prime Minister, chose to support, expand and underpin the fairs, speaks to their value and significance. In Oxfordshire, the County Council has played a key role, as has SEEDA.
I believe it would be helpful and informative if a person hearing the word Venturefest had an independent reference point to find out what it is, and then consider whether attendance could be of use to them.
I had hoped that once a minimum article had been set up, members of the Venturefest community could then expand, edit and contribute to the entry.
I am at a loss to understand your reluctance to move this along. There are many, many smaller forums, events, networks which have a Wikipedia entry. Saracens2020 (talk) 12:27, 20 August 2021 (UTC)
- You have yet to address the conflict of interest/undisclosed paid editing questions. Theroadislong (talk) 17:41, 20 August 2021 (UTC)
For the record I can confirm I have no financial, ownership or beneficial interest in Venturefest, neither now nor at any point in the past.
I have never undertaken any paid editing for any individual, entity with regard to Wikipedia.
My only direct connection to Venturefest is that in 2000 (could have been 2001) I gave a talk and presentation on internet business models for which I was not paid.
My interest in the fair arises because I would very much like to see a Vewnturefest in Cambridge.

As far as I know, everything is substantiated via either References, Selected Publications, External Links, or other Wikipedia pages.
- In which case you are very much mistaken, for living people each and every fact requires an inline citation, see WP:REFB for help, large parts of your draft are completely unsourced so not acceptable. Please also remember to sign your posts with four tildes. Theroadislong (talk) 19:47, 20 August 2021 (UTC)
Malicious Editing Dispute Resolved
Hello... below is my reply on @possibly talk page... sorry, I don't use Wikipedia as much as has been implied, so I'm posting/replying the best I know how.
Nope. Not upset at all. In fact, I'm content to have been proven right in my assertion. You said you were a "woke anti-racist" when you "reported" me to the administrator (too late for an edit... got the screenshot). That is a quasi-political statement. "Woke" is an insult/label akin to "liberal" or "leftist" here in America that is used to "attack" another person's political views. It has a very specific connotation, which is why you labeled yourself that. I am neither "woke" nor "asleep". And nowhere above did I accuse you of racism. I accused you (and the user that "reported" me to you) of political bias. You admitted to it. That's called "talking things out", so I'm done. Have a good day and thank your for your time. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Macklevine (talk • contribs) 10:49, 21 August 2021 (UTC)
Question regarding sourcing
Hi Theroadislong,
Just a few questions for properly sourcing things as I noticed a few things were trimmed out in the Steve Ravic article.
First thing is are we able to actually source things from an individuals website that may contain information? I'll use My Way as a hypothetical example as it seems to be his latest project: Now for something like this, would posts about it on Steve Ravic's Majestic Film site http://majesticfilm.com/my-way/ or the Charles Billich's own page https://www.billich.com/blogs/news-events/charles-billich-my-way-film qualify qualify as a source? If not then does this interview from SBS count as an acceptable source even if it is in Croatian? https://www.sbs.com.au/language/croatian/audio/charles-billich-i-steve-ravic-najavljuju-novi-igrani-film-my-way-u-kojemu-mogu-sudjelovati-i-clanovi-hrvatske-zajednice
If none of the above meet standards, then in this case would we have to wait until another source appears talking about it such as a movie news website?
In regards to removing mentions of Metal Warriors and Majestic Film, I assume it's part of what you said was promotional. Would a line such as the following read better as purely informational: "In the early 90's Steve Ravic began his business Samson Video Productions, which would not too long after become Metal Warriors (A record label and tour promotion agency) and in 2007 also created Majestic Film (A film production company)." Would something like the about us section on the company's page be enough for that line in the article or would it need to come from a source like a news article or interview with a publication?
There was another claim made about being a leader in the migrant Croatian community in his early life section, now referring again to the SBS interview I posted up above which I translated via Google Translate, which I know isn't the best, but it reads as follows:
" At the Astor Theater in St. Kilda in Melbourne, on Wednesday, March 31, the premiere of the documentary Billich - Beyond the Canvas about the life and work of the famous artist from the Australian Croatian community Charles Billich was held, directed by prominent community member, director and producer Steve Ravic. Billich talks about impressions from the Melbourne premiere, while Ravic invites people from the community to participate in the feature film “My Way”.
Now to also better substantiate the claim, would one be able to collect physical newspaper articles and or headlines and have them uploaded online to an image sharing site such as imgur? In my research I found a fair few newspaper articles from the Hrvatski Vjesnik, a Croatian publication which uploads their covers to their public Facebook page which has Steve on them, it wouldn't take too long to get any relevant ones and upload them if that helps.
I also ask this question about newspapers in preparation for my next article about George Julio, who at the time of his retirement was the oldest active wrestler in Australia and who is still active in training new wrestlers and working with local Australian promotions. Now he has quite a few web articles posted about him online from major news outlets in Australia, mostly in regards to his retirement. But I do have a few friends (The ones who told me told me that I should write about George) who follow the Australian scene, they're hardcore fans who have offered and offered to source news articles or even magazines if needed since there may be a few things missed on an article about him that are subject to being in old print media. But if print media isn't allowed like this then it would be good to know before I ask anything of them.
Thank you for reading the lengthy message and taking the time to help me better an article, much appreciated. MetalDarren (talk) 14:04, 21 August 2021 (UTC)
- http://majesticfilm.com/my-way/ is a primary source so no good and https://www.billich.com/blogs/news-events/charles-billich-my-way-film is s blog so not reliable, interviews are also not reliable. Print media is fine. Theroadislong (talk) 14:35, 21 August 2021 (UTC)

Article about Thomas Gangl
Hi Theroadislong, thank you for reviewing my article about Thomas Gangl. Since this is my first article, I would like to understand the criteria for this desicion a bit more. Thomas Gangl is manager of a global acting company - Borealis has 6,900 employees and operates in over 120 countries. Why is an article about him not relevant?
Looking forward to your Feedback. Kind regards,--Lisa Kolb (talk) 08:43, 23 August 2021 (UTC)
- Re:Draft:Thomas Gangl (Manager) the draft only has one independent source, his own website is of no use for establishing any notability. In order to demonstrate notability, you need to provide multiple references to in-depth articles written about him in unrelated, independent journals, magazines, books or online. Theroadislong (talk) 09:45, 23 August 2021 (UTC)
Ok, thank you. Of course there were more articles about him becoming the CEO of Borealis, but they only published the infos in the media release. Thomas Gangl will give more interviews the next month - is it possible to update the article with german sources (of newspapers, magazines etc.)?--Lisa Kolb (talk) 09:58, 23 August 2021 (UTC)

Talk page
Hi there, thank you for giving me that warning and stalking my contributions and reverting them arbitrarily. I have now posted on the article's Talk page. Do kindly explain how an academic journal article is not a reliable resource. Otherwise, I'm going to have to infer that your reversions and deletions of my contributions are arbitrary and animated by resentment and bitterness that you were called out on your passive aggressiveness. Thank you. Koikefan (talk) 08:46, 23 August 2021 (UTC)
- Please assume good faith. My edit on Jeremiah Lisbo here [1] removed the statement "the Philippines' largest movie production company" which was NOT supported by the given reference [2] You have since replaced the reference and another user has reverted you, you need to discuss this with them not me. Theroadislong (talk) 09:32, 23 August 2021 (UTC)
- I did not replace the reference, I added a reference. If your concern was the betterment of the article and not stirring the pot and arbitrarily deleting my contributions, you would have taken the liberty to review the reference I added and you would've seen that it does back up the statement. You could have then intervened when it was reverted back, contrary to the added source. But you did none of that and simply gave a warning about an edit war (because, again, your concern does not seem to be about accuracy but merely interfering with my contributions). So please excuse me if your actions do not warrant an assumption of good faith. Koikefan (talk) 09:50, 23 August 2021 (UTC)

I believe it is not appropirate from a reviewer to use "just blatant advertising" feedback to a company profile that is not commerical as you claimed. Its better if you choose your words with a good feedback and recommendation or not to do that at all! — Preceding unsigned comment added by AmmarMismar (talk • contribs) 11:33, 23 August 2021 (UTC)
- It is entirely appropriate. There are zero company profiles on Wikipedia, only articles about notable companies. Please also address the concerns about undisclosed paid editing. Theroadislong (talk) 11:39, 23 August 2021 (UTC)
I am an employee at that company in the marketing department, which does make sense to write about it. Can you define what do you mean by Notable? I would expect you to share a criteria created by Wikiepdia for notable companies. — Preceding unsigned comment added by AmmarMismar (talk • contribs) 11:46, 23 August 2021 (UTC)
- The criteria is in the blue link above and again here notable. Theroadislong (talk) 11:48, 23 August 2021 (UTC)

- It looks like you have bypassed the WP:AFC process and moved the draft to main space where it has been sent to WP:AFD, the community will now decide whether your company passes WP:NCORP. Theroadislong (talk) 09:31, 24 August 2021 (UTC)
Please Be Aware of Your Biases
Hi, please try to acknowledge your own bias and steer clear from discussions that would implicate it. You and I have had clear engagements that would bias your opinion towards a third party dispute I am having, from your making passive aggressive comments at me, questioning my neutrality, and you, in a fit of pettiness, going around and deleting random contributions I have made. It is very childish of you to stir the pot and then pretend you have no bias in a discussion you choose to participate in.
WP: Third opinion: Third opinions must be neutral. If you have had dealings with the article or with the editors involved in the dispute that would bias your response, do not offer a third opinion on that dispute.

- I have not edited the talk page as a third opinion and your increasingly aggressive comments are not welcome. Theroadislong (talk) 18:30, 23 August 2021 (UTC)
- How are statements of fact aggressive comments? Do you deny that you have made passive aggressive comments and questioned my neutrality? Do you deny going to my contributions page and reverting various contributions I have made subsequent to be being called out on said passive aggressive behaviour? Hounding is Unproductive
In my opinion, what you have been doing is a form of WP:Stalk. Specifically:
Hounding on Wikipedia (or "wikihounding") is the singling out of one or more editors, joining discussions on multiple pages or topics they may edit or multiple debates where they contribute, to repeatedly confront or inhibit their work. This is with an apparent aim of creating irritation, annoyance, or distress to the other editor. Hounding usually involves following the target from place to place on Wikipedia.
Please be aware of this, thank you. If this harassment continues I will bring it to the attention of an administrator. Koikefan (talk) 18:44, 23 August 2021 (UTC)
- Please do, but beware of WP:BOOMERANG. Theroadislong (talk) 18:47, 23 August 2021 (UTC)
Draft:Abdʿobodat
Hi
Thanks for your feedback. I added two more sources to the article. But I just want to say that I’m not creating this article by itself and leaving it. As you may know it’s very rare that we actually get the names of individual architects who created the monuments of the ancient world. In this case we have two or three names from Hegra and Petra (both are world heritage sites, and one of them was voted to be one of the modern wonders of the world). For some reason there are no English sources or articles about these names but if this is accepted I can then link this article with others and with the other existing articles on the subject.
Edit War
Will you be giving the same warning to the other editor or only to me? Because if it's only to me I can't help but come to the conclusion that you are targeting me specifically (which will go towards further proof of WP:Hounding and stalking). Thank you. Koikefan (talk) 07:46, 24 August 2021 (UTC)
thank you for the guidance
Ventyrefest - Further response to your comments
I would be grateful if you would reply to the message I left a couple of days ago in resonse to your request for further clarification:
You have yet to address the conflict of interest/undisclosed paid editing questions. Theroadislong (talk) 17:41, 20 August 2021 (UTC) For the record I can confirm I have no financial, ownership or beneficial interest in Venturefest, neither now nor at any point in the past.

Hello,
I would like to know how I can publish this article, The youtube video is an official conference on an official youtube channel of Tesla, I pointed others reference to reliable websites. Can you please help me to fit the expected criteria to publish this page?
Thank you
- Wikipedia is not for merely providing information. A Wikipedia article must summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about them, Wikipedia has litle interest in what Tesla says about it, only in what others unaffiliated with the topic choose to say about it. Theroadislong (talk) 15:33, 24 August 2021 (UTC)
=> Ok I see, I did not know about that, I will remove the Youtube reference and continue to seek for the reliable independant ones before the new submit.
Deletion of redirect "Dioicy"
What exactly do you want to achieve by deleting the redirect "Dioicy"? I think that the article Monoicous should be at the noun Monoicy or Dioicy – it doesn't much matter which, but I see no point in having both, any more than I see the point of having Monoecy for plants when there's a longer article at Dioecy. Hi, Theroadislong, I have been working on creating an article about C-Change Conversations for a few months, and back in June you rejected the article. One of the comments you gave was that it sounded like paid editing and that I needed to address this before continuing. How do I state that it is unpaid? Thanks a lot for your help, looking forward to your response.
Md. Shahjahan Shamim
Hello sir, can you please help meHimanshu7777 (talk) 15:36, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
can you please reply. Himanshu7777 (talk) 16:41, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
- You have not asked a question? But I guess you are referring to Draft:Md. Shahjahan Shamim, IMDb and Wikitree are not reliable sources and there is no indication that he meets the criteria at WP:NSINGER. Theroadislong (talk) 16:53, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
Thanks sir for your reply, sir i removed this three references, can you please help me which reference is suitable for this page Himanshu7777 (talk) 20:03, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
- Himanshu7777 References which discuss him in-depth are what is required but you have still notsuggested how they pass the criteria at WP:NSINGER, can you suggest how they do? Theroadislong (talk) 20:09, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
Thanks sir for reply. please sir give me time i will more research about him, sir secondly i have another questions spotify, youtube music, apple, itune are good reference?? Himanshu7777 (talk) 21:16, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
- No, none of them are suitable, they are primary sources not secondary. Theroadislong (talk) 21:19, 25 August 2021 (UTC)

Help with page
I was trying to include information for my band from the 1980s-- but the draft was declined, can you tell me what is needed?
It's very difficult to find online reviews from magazines. Can I attach scans of the magazine reviews? thank you, Amaury
- It's not clear how Draft:Amor Fati Band pass the criteria at WP:NBAND? Discogs is not a reliable source for anything, sources do not have to be online and scans are not required just publication details. Please also review WP:COI. Theroadislong (talk) 17:51, 25 August 2021 (UTC)
submission declined
hi there, I am writing this message because an article submission was declined by you. I have updated the article to some extinct. please approve the article now since it's only a biography of an American actress. i hope you will listen to my request regard, W8town-studios
IdeaFirst Article
Hi, I just have a few questions. First, you mentioned IMDB, which was not cited in the article (as far as I'm aware); was this a mistake? You also mentioned the use of their website; that's an easy fix as it can just be deleted. However, you also referred to interviews not being viable as independent sources. Can you elaborate on the distinction between an interview and a profile that includes quotes? If an actor were to have a profile about them written in Vogue or GQ, and the profile quoted them, surely that would still count as an independent reliable source? The following, IMO, are profiles/in-depth coverage with original research by the independent news outlet, but which integrate quotes, and are not mere interviews: [3], [4], [5], [6], (in Tagalog) [7], (in Tagalog)[8]. I took a look at the Brad Pitt article and here are a few of the first few references in the article: [9], [10], [11]. These were all, I assume, deemed to be satisfactory independent sources, even though they are basically profiles that function also as interviews.
Koikefan (talk) 07:49, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
- My apologies I mis-read the link, if you could add the extra sources you mention and remove the primary one, it should be good to go. The Brad Pitt article is irrelevant, see WP:OSE. Theroadislong (talk) 08:37, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
- Done, thanks for checking. Koikefan (talk) 08:55, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
Draft: VR FleetCare
Hello!
I have now edited my draft and read it multiple times, and can see no reason why it should not be published. All sources are independent and the article is from a neutral point of view. --TaruHeinonen (talk) 12:11, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
- I have declined three times, I will leave it for another reviewer to take a look. Theroadislong (talk) 12:35, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
Request on 12:22:02, 26 August 2021 for assistance on AfC submission by Matroot

Hi theroadislong
THanks for the comments on Tom Faulkner. I am his brother but not part of the business nor being paid for the wiki entry - just helping write copy. Even so, I get the feeling that maybe he is not a noteworthy subject. If that is so, please could you put me out of my misery!!
THanks Matt (matroot)
Matroot (talk) 12:22, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
- I think you are probably right, notability is judged by looking at the depth of coverage in independent, reliable, secondary sources and if there aren't any then it's WP:TOOSOON. Theroadislong (talk) 12:33, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
Sources
Sources are in the external links. Mathman8574 (talk) 17:08, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
- Sources need to be in line following the content that they support for biographies. Theroadislong (talk) 17:10, 26 August 2021 (UTC) Why not further down the page? Initial exposure in high-level language, details
further down.Mathman8574 (talk) 17:31, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
- Sorry I don't understand what you men by "Initial exposure in high-level language, details
further down"? All content in biographies requires in-line citations to reliable sources, the draft will not be accepted without. Theroadislong (talk) 20:40, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
Independent reliable sources
Yes, I am aware of this. I had many such sources (books in fact) as "reliable sources not the biographee" in an earlier draft. However a different editor unilaterally removed them and said they were not allowed. Editors seemingly contradict each other? Mathman8574 (talk) 17:28, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
- I'm not seeing in the draft history where this occurred? Wikipedia actively relies on independent reliable sources for all articles. Theroadislong (talk) 20:09, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
Help
So you just rejected my first article (Net Savings Link) for not being notable. The subject is being reported on by the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg, CNN, etc. That does not seem to me to be a "passing mention." I also saw that someone says I have a "close connection with the subject." I have no idea where this comes from. I know of it because I'm into investing and think only the second US publicly traded company with a crypto exchange is notable. I've wanted to write a Wikipedia article for some time but there was never anything "new" I could think of. How can I make this better? Joelsalinger21 (talk) 17:35, 26 August 2021 (UTC)
