@SusunW: Can you tell if this image now in the public domain [1]? I couldn't find the copyright notice. TJMSmith (talk) 12:17, 16 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

TJMSmith I think you are good to use it. Copyright law indicates between 1927 and 1977 published without a notice is in the public domain. Neither the masthead, nor publishing data contain a copyright indication. To be doubly safe, I checked the Catalog of Copyright Entries and nothing for Evansville. SusunW Thank you! What is the template I should use in Commons? TJMSmith (talk) 14:08, 16 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Found it! PD-US-no notice TJMSmith (talk) 14:54, 16 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Discogs

The only entry I found is a 'dedicated to' on this release [2]. AMCKen (talk) 19:52, 16 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Name

Why does the intro say Barbara Joan Maier Gustern (née Maier) ... with the "Maier" name being repeated? The fact that it is included in her FULL NAME -- the first one listed -- indicates that "Maier" is her maiden name ... and thus makes the "née" notation redundant or unnecessary ... no? Joseph A. • New enough, long enough, QPQ done, passes earwig. --evrik (talk) 17:33, 5 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
evrik, will you be finishing this review at some point? I note that you haven't addressed the neutrality and sourcing criteria, the image, nor the hook being adequately supported. Once you've done all this, if it meets the DYK criteria, then the appropriate icon must be added (and if it doesn't, then an icon is still needed to signal that the review is complete). Thank you. Notability

I'm only a sporadic reader here, and yet, I have read many times here of the rule whereby nobody becomes notable based on being a one-time crime victim. I guess that's just another of the phony WP rules and guidelines, which only apply when they are expedient for the person wielding them. 2603:7000:B23E:3056:C884:B510:DE1E:181F (talk) 03:15, 23 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
