Seeking for a mentor

Hello, Praxidicae! By chance I came across very good reviews about you and about your work on Wikipedia. I am a fairly experienced user of the Russian-language Wikipedia, I have the status of "auto-confirmed participants, loading, rolling back, patrolling" participants. I really want to develop in the English-language Wikipedia, to be useful, to implement interesting and necessary articles from Kazakhstan here. I am at a studio for learning English, so creating articles, and most importantly, challenging the verdicts of administrators is very difficult for me. I would really like to find an English-speaking friend and mentor. I am a very diligent and responsible student. I am ready to help with articles, search for the blind, learn, correct my mistakes. Now I need help to improve the articles of two Kazakhstanis that the country is proud of. They have put Kazakhstan on the world's innovation card. Perhaps you could take your time and share some tips and tricks. The administrator who transferred my articles to Draft, unfortunately, did not respond to my message. Thanks in advance! El Xokas

Hello, I am talking to you in relation to the article I wrote about El Xokas. I don't understand how you have had time to review the article in less than a minute. El Xokas is one of the most famous streamers in Spain, he has done a live stream with more than 1.2 million simultaneous viewers (I don't know if you are aware of how many people that is) and has had more than 50,000 simultaneous paying subscribers on Twitch. I think the article is well written and I have referenced everything, the media I have put are the best Spanish newspapers. Anyway, in case you think it is not enough, I am going to add even more references. From my humble point of view, I think you have rushed and should have invested more time in reviewing the article.   - Dandilero, First off, you don’t need to ping Praxidicae on their TP, they can see & are aware of this conversation, they most likely wouldn’t respond because (1) they are heavily preoccupied with other aspects of this collaborative project and (2) I’m already responding on their behalf, you have apologized for being rude which is good. Let me start by saying the article wasn’t rejected in two minutes as you claim Draft:El Xokas was created at precisely 16:47 on March 11 2022, See and it was rejected by me On March 15 2022 That is a whole Four days after which counters your claim that it was rejected “after 2 minutes of creation” Secondly please see WP:PLEASEDONT. I understand and appreciate your predicament but unfortunately Praxidicae didn’t make the rules nor did I, The time spent in creating articles is immaterial to its mainspace worthiness. IranPress News Agency to be deleted?

Hello, just saw your "request for speedy deletion (CSD A7)" on IranPress News Agency. I have questions. How and why does it meet the criteria for speedy deletion? I have literally placed the sources on the article. Two of them are from the website its self, based on the WP:ABOUTSELF policy. The other one of them is from another Iranian news website called, Young Journalists Club.

If this is not enough for you, I think I should also mention that this news agency also has an article on Persian Wikipedia.

Here is an IRIB official website, their "world service" to be exact. Just scroll down and see, IranPress is listed as one of their channels. I believe it is important, because it is an official part of a governmental department. Viral weirdo (talk) 20:56, 19 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding the deleted article to bring back

Hi, I see this article Dr. Puneeth Rajkumar was deleted on 16 March 2022. Puneeth Rajkumar has been received honorary doctorate by University of Mysore today. Le Droit Humain

Hi there. I have spent time rewriting the Le Droit Humain page to conform to copyright policy, after another user flagged the copy/paste nature of large parts of it. I was wondering why you reverted the page to how it was, since it now violates said policy. Since I'm nervous of the page being taken down, I've temporarily undone your reversion, but if there's a reason I've missed please feel free to undo my undo! Well this is embarrassing, I could have sworn I weighed in the AFD & !voted accordingly earlier today, perhaps the crappy Nigerian network didn’t save the damn thing, I have weighed in now, I really have to go join my extended family back in Utah at least the network there isn’t this bad. But lest I digress, Praxi, it indeed doesn’t really matter how they ask, you definitely shouldn’t withdraw it, the AFD has merit. Personally I don’t see GNG or any relevant SNG met. Regarding Double Horse

You could redirect Manjilas to the new article Double Horse since it was created with the wiki guidelines and it meets notability criteria. Bassim Haidar

Hi Praxidicae, any reason as to why you nominated a page I worked on for speedy deletion? The page has been extensively reworked on and numerous reliable sources added, there are other contributors who also agree which is why it was moved to draft for further editing. You seem to have a bias against Bassim Haidar and I wonder why. You could have easily nominated it for deletion and allow me the opportunity with others to make a case why it shouldn't be deleted but you chose to nominate it for speedy deletion for reasons best known to you. I did abide by the guidelines so it is quite funny seeing that you have a bias against Bassim Haidar. Care to explain? Are you also discouraging me from contributing to Wikipedia? As requested I have updated and disclosed the employer as per Wikipedia terms, as previously stated I am a freelancer and I write content and articles for clients thanks to you I have understood that there is a Wikipedia: Paid-contribution disclosure, and editors are supposed to update that. Am sorry at first I was afraid and confused about what to tell you but now am confident and ready to learn, stay honest and transparent in all manners. (by talk reader) @Mambablaq.1: Typically paid editors are never able to overcome their conflict of interest and often end up blocked from editing; sometimes the company they work for is entirely banned from interaction with Wikipedia. I used to be a paid editor/freelancer myself. That said, I recommend taking time to learn Wikipedia editing and expectations on articles where you have no interest, at all. Learning Wikipedia by slowly editing alongside others is your best chance to not get run off this platform. I understand as a freelancer you have to make product for the client but if you push promotional biographies without understanding our community, this will come to a quick end for you.
