Your Edits to History of India

[edit]

Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, as you did to History of India, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia.

Please stop. If you continue to make personal attacks on other people as you did at User:New Rock Star, you will be blocked for disruption. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Thank you. --Sigma 7 03:11, 7 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Blocked

[edit]

You have been blocked from editing Wikipedia for a period of 24 hours as a result of your disruptive edits. You are free to make constructive edits after the block has expired, but please note that vandalism (including page blanking or addition of random text), spam, deliberate misinformation, privacy violations, personal attacks; and repeated, blatant violations of our neutral point of view policy will not be tolerated. You were blocked specifically for this edit, where you pretended to be another user. This is completely unacceptable, and if you do it again, you may be blocked indefinitely. | Mr. Darcy talk 05:31, 7 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Cat:Telugu people

[edit]

Please stop adding 'Telugu people' category to the pages of people who are not Telugu. Telugus are an ethno-linguistic group two whom Osman Ali Khan, Asif Jah VII nor Mir Jumla belonged. They just happened to live in regions where there were large populations of Telugu people. They were ethnically Arab, Persian, Turkish, and the languages the spoke were Persian and Urdu. --Barastert 11:07, 7 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hello

  • Your edits are blatantly POV and hence have been undone for the 3rd time. If you wish to change anything, please do so as long as you give relevant citation or explaination in the talk page.
  • Currently the article is not neutral. As long as you dont do millitant edits, we might be able to see a balance in the Bio article. Do you think you can be a bit gradual with your edits, as well as thorough?

Thanks

License tagging for Image:Howiemisspakistan2.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Howiemisspakistan2.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 00:09, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for Image:Northcentral.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Northcentral.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Duplicate images uploaded

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Northcentral.png.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Northcentral.jpg. The copy called Image:Northcentral.jpg has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 23:29, 3 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Northcentral.png.jpg)

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Northcentral.png.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 18:29, 10 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Image Copyright problem
Image Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading Image:Zaki.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the image. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. STBotI (talk) 05:26, 20 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Unreferenced BLPs

[edit]

Hello Kishanjoshi! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 3 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

Why did editor Moonriddengirl ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User_talk:Moonriddengirl#Bhurshut ) delete the rewritten post which had no copyright problem? Elsewhere you say there is no issues if the article was rewritten and so was it done to avoid any possible copyright violation. Till it was deleted by Moonriddengirl and so you are requested to restore the latest rewritten version ignoring any personal issues which Moonriddengirl seems to have regarding this article! 117.254.79.182 (talk) 07:52, 25 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Asian 10,000 Challenge invite

[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 05:00, 20 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
