The Patna - Howrah Vande Bharat Express is India's upcoming Vande Bharat Express train, connecting the city of Patna in Bihar with Howrah in West Bengal.[1][2] The train was expected to be inaugurated by Narendra Modi on August 2023.[3] But it is postponed.

Overview

This train will be operated by Indian Railways, connecting Patna Jn and Howrah Jn. It will be operated on 6 days a week basis.[4][5][6]

Rakes

It will be the upcoming 2nd Generation Mini Vande Bharat 2.0 Express train which will be designed and manufactured by the Integral Coach Factory at Perambur, Chennai under the Make in India Initiative.[7]

Coach Composition

The Patna - Howrah Vande Bharat Express will have 7 AC Chair Car and 1 Executive Chair Car coaches. The coaches in Aqua color indicate AC Chair Cars and the coaches in Pink color indicate AC Executive Chair Cars.
