removing POV tag with no active discussion per Template:POV
I've removed an old neutrality tag from this page that appears to have no active discussion per the instructions at Template:POV:
- This template is not meant to be a permanent resident on any article. Remove this template whenever:
- There is consensus on the talkpage or the NPOV Noticeboard that the issue has been resolved
- It is not clear what the neutrality issue is, and no satisfactory explanation has been given
- In the absence of any discussion, or if the discussion has become dormant.

Since there's no evidence of ongoing discussion, I'm removing the tag for now. If discussion is continuing and I've failed to see it, however, please feel free to restore the template and continue to address the issues. Thanks to everybody working on this one! -- Khazar2 (talk) 02:55, 27 June 2013 (UTC)
Essay-like
Fellow Wikipedians,
I've added the essay-like tag as I feel that is the issue with the article: not lack of citations but not adhering to MoS/NPOV rules.
If someone with more expertise in the topic area could clear this up that would be fabulous.
Regards,

Manila Sound → Manila sound – Per MOS:GENRECAPS, music genres are not capitalised, unless the genre name contains a proper name such as the name of a place; in this case "Manila", so "sound" should be in lower case. Hiddenstranger (talk) 07:43, 16 March 2020 (UTC)
- Support the article content already uses this case anyway. Crouch, Swale (talk) 17:59, 16 March 2020 (UTC)

"Manila sound" or "Manila Sound"
Guys, I don't have a horse in this race, so I am just observing here now, and hoping you will read this humble suggestion:
"Manila Sound" is a proper name. It was invented by the the record companies during its time to describe a new style of Filipino pop music.

Please MOVE this page to a correctly spelled name (caps & lower). Peace and Love, Buszmail (talk) 06:57, 6 April 2021 (UTC)
- Per Wikipedia rules, please see MOS:GENRECAPS and the closed discussion above. Thanks. ~ Hiddenstranger (talk) 07:32, 6 April 2021 (UTC)
