The result of the move request was: moved to List of Chiefs of Defence Forces (Thailand). List of Commanders of the Royal Thai Armed Forces Headquarters → Chief of Defence Forces (Thailand) – Could only find "Chief of Defence Forces" to be the official term used in translations. Also, the "List of..." construct is unnecessary since this article should also cover the post. Paul_012 (talk) 10:07, 14 December 2017 (UTC) --Relisting. Comment - according to the list itself, the office changed title in 2008, between #27 and #28. So probably a descriptive title covering both offices may be appropriate. Also, per my comment at Talk:List_of_Commanders_of_the_Royal_Thai_Army#Requested_move_14_December_2017, I would oppose removing the "List of..." at this stage. This is principally a list, not an article. — Amakuru (talk) 10:49, 22 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
- I'd alternatively support a move to List of Chiefs of Defence Forces (Thailand) or List of Chiefs of Defence Forces of Thailand. I think it's pretty much standard practice, when an office is renamed, to have the article title follow the new name even if it covers the old one as well (with a redirect, of course). Point is, the current title appears to be a rather clumsy original translation that isn't actually used anywhere, so even List of Supreme Commanders (Thailand) or List of Supreme Commanders of Thailand would be better than the current title. --Paul_012 (talk) 19:25, 22 December 2017 (UTC)[reply]
