Almost Famous?

[edit]

Almost Famous was directed by Cameron Crowe, not Jon Favreau.

Updated picture

[edit]

Since Swingers was released ten years ago and Favreau looks much different now, I took the liberty of updating his picture.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Hypermagic (talkcontribs) 18:46, 27 June 2006.

No Friends?

[edit]

No mention of his work in Friends? I would call that his break-out role, really. He probably got more publicity and acclaim for that than any of his films by that point.

Birthday

[edit]

I forgot to login when I did it, but I fixed the birthday on the infobox to show the day he was born, not the 1927 date that was there. I really doubt he waited 40 or so years before graduating college with no prior history.Atomic1fire (talk) 22:35, 27 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The other Jon Favreau

[edit]

Is there no article for Jon Favreau, Barack Obama's speechwriter? Simphilip (talk) 20:04, 9 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

There is now (since April, at least). Jon Favreau (speechwriter). —Josiah Rowe (talkcontribs) 22:45, 4 June 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Why does "Jon Favreau" default to the actor guy? Is that decision based on the number of times someone accesses his page? Why not a disambiguation page? 98.248.180.183 (talk) 22:42, 26 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Executive Producer Credits

[edit]

Shouldn't his work as a producer, especially executive producer, be credited as well? I know it's been officially confirmed that he's the executive producer for the 2011 movie The Avengers. Mrobviousjosh (talk) 09:41, 30 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Go for it --SV Resolution(Talk) 15:27, 4 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Magic Kingdom

Heres a ref for this project;

Middle Name

[edit]

This is more than enough proof that Kolia's his middle name.

OK, I'll restore. The "View details" button and links didn't make the text name readily apparent. --Tenebrae (talk) 18:56, 16 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Actor-Director Section Needs Cleaning

[edit]

The actor-director section is pretty messy. There's no clear flow, either chronologically or by project. It's just a painful mess to read. I don't have time to work on it at the moment, but I'll take a whack at it later if someone doesn't beat me to it.DenJansen (talk) 22:06, 15 December 2012 (UTC)[reply]

TV pilot

[edit]

this article says he is shooting a pilot in SF.Mercurywoodrose (talk) 05:18, 29 March 2013 (UTC) He has also directed the first episode of Seth McFarland's The Orville.[reply]

Separate tables for acting, writing and producing credits

[edit]

Instead of having all the credits in one giant table, is anyone opposed to separating them and having a table for each thing, of course some titles would be repeated but I find it easier because he didn't start writing or directing until later so the acting credits should be on their own. What is the crap in the first paragraph>

[edit]

Has this been trashed? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 162.211.12.99 (talk) 05:08, 1 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

First Paragraph

Babish

[edit]

Do you think that Favreau appearing on Binging with Babish is notable enough to put in this page? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Dobekofcas (talkcontribs) 15:00, 20 April 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Friends

[edit]

Why isn’t his role as Pete Becker on Friends mentioned? That was a major show! 108.31.194.185 (talk) 18:35, 7 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

See Jon Favreau filmography, it is listed there. Not every role needs to be in prose, list/table mentioning is adequate.--☾Loriendrew☽ (ring-ring) 20:42, 7 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
