The Great

Untitled

[edit]

Please list your sources for the title "The Great" for Pope Nicholas as all other books etc I have read do not include him among the popes with this title.--File Éireann 10:20, 16 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Apparently, List of Popes names him as being "the Great", so this issue should be pursued further there. GreetingsEarthling 22:17, 16 Apr 2005 (UTC)
At least one source, "The Year In Religion" by Ernie Gross, New York:Neal-Schuman Publishing, 1990, ISBN 1-55570-045-4, refers to him by that title. John Carter 15:32, 17 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Someone should add an entry about his discoveries as a scientist. He claimed to have invented steam.
