Language could do with some work.

Rather a lot of this article uses un-encyclopaedic language; it reads more like a blog entry.

Expressions like 'He helped transition opera' (is this an employee résumé?); 'He ended up coming out with a masterpiece' and 'Keiser would have to face Händel again' (is he a baseball player?); 'made a rapid exit' (awful cliché); and so on.

Please fix. It's like reading the term paper of a very average student; one who gets away with writing 'perhaps' instead of pursuing rigorous research.2001:8003:303D:BC00:FDE8:E225:F568:8219 (talk) 23:35, 18 January 2024 (UTC)[reply]
