It looks like someone from Samsonite changed this article on Nov 26. It looks like user:moveconvertible is a Marketing person for them possibly? 50.132.79.11 (talk) 23:50, 23 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the following purported gallery which displays nothing. Please edit section to see it all. The text is advertorial IMO Chrismorey (talk) 21:12, 26 February 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Taif

[edit]

I removed the following line from the main article as there is no prior reference to, explanation of, or citation in reference to "Taif" anywhere else in the article. Google tells me it's a city in Saudi Arabia. Can anyone provide a reason why this should remain in the article?

"Samsonite had offices in Taif for 13 years." (65.206.16.35 (talk) 16:37, 25 January 2016 (UTC))[reply]

American?

[edit]

It says Samsonite is an American company. Yet their home office is now in Luxembourg, and they're on the HK stock exchange? Doesn't sound American at all to me. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 12.2.138.109 (talk) 20:52, 10 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • I was equally confused as I read this article. It may have been an American company before, but it certainly doesn't appear to be that any longer. I have removed the "American" from the lead, choosing not to replace it with anything for now (Luxembourg, even Hong Kong, appear to be more plausible home-country candidates), at least until someone can explain why "American" should be there. Agreed. It looks like 'American' is back in the lead. I'll remove. Jmbld (talk) 05:27, 27 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I removed "American" from the Short description too. --Jhertel (talk) 13:32, 27 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Senior Leadership

[edit]

This section seems promotional and unnecessary. It also lacks sourcing. Planning to remove unless anyone feels differently. Jmbld (talk) 05:30, 27 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
