An election for Mayor of Alexandria, Virginia will be held on November 5, 2024. Incumbent Justin Wilson has announced he will not seek a third term as mayor.[1]
Democratic primary
A Democratic primary will be held on June 18, 2024. Incumbent Democratic mayor Justin Wilson has announced he will not seek a third term. Wilson was first elected in 2018, defeating incumbent Allison Silberberg in the primary. Wilson was reelected in 2021.[1]
