Cascadia, a Wikipedia user, from Tempe, Arizona. When on the road, I go by Cascadia4 when accessing from non-secure, non familiar, or public computers. My username is derived from Cascadia, the name for the area of Washington, Oregon, Idaho, and British Columbia.
Greetings! For those of you craving to know, I go by Brad in the real world. Normally I would have 0 problems telling people more than that, such as what company I work for (because I take pride in my work), my full name (because I take pride in who I am), etc., but not here. Not anymore. Some people take things too far and had me rethink the information I make readily available.
Anyway, if you found yourself here after researching an action or comment you didn't like, tell me, but do it constructively. If you're here to rant, rave, belittle, or otherwise be a (insert expletive), then by all means, direct those comments to the nearest vertical plane nearest you (aka A wall). If you are here to give me constructive criticism, I promise I will...
1) Field the concern and give it more than :20 of thought.
2) If it is valid, I will reply so.
3) If it is simply stating you don't LIKE something about me, you'll promptly get a IDGRA response.
4) If you can suggest something I can do better, or have a cool tool that maybe I could use, then by all means, share it... I might just return the favor!
5) If you need to enlist my assistance for something, I'm usually up for it.
6) If you are looking for help, ask. If I don't know, I'll try to find out!
Clarification:
I am NOT an Admin, or any other official wikipedia role. If you are upset because you don't like what I've done, tell me constructively. Trust me, it goes farther than claiming I'm an Admin and need to be stripped of my access.
We're all humans... well, most of us
Please remember that I'm human, capable of mistakes and bad judgement. I'll try to do the same for you. If you feel I haven't extended this courtesy to you, please let me know ASAP. I, like everyone else, get frustrated to the point of breaking things sometimes, I admit that. Let me know kindly and I can do something about it, let me know unkindly... and you might as well throw gas on a fire.
Thank you, and please, let me know what I can do better.
