X is the tenth studio album by Australian dance-pop singer Kylie Minogue. It will be Minogue's first commercial album release since she was diagnosed with breast cancer in May 2005.
Promotion
To promote the release of the album, Kylie performed on an exclusive show on ITV1 called The Kylie Show, featuring six songs from the new album, and four of her older hits. It was aired on 10 November, 2007. Kylie also joined Jo Whiley on Radio 1 for a special show promoting the new album called "Kylie and Whiley" during which they recreated a scene from Neighbours.

Outtakes
The following songs are those that were written and recorded during the sessions for X but did not make the final cut, did not get past the demo stage, or were recorded for compilations.
B-sides and compilation tracks
- "Love Is The Drug": cover of 1975 Roxy Music hit for Radio 1. Established 1967, the Radio One 40th anniversary album.
- "I Don't Know What It Is": released as a b-side on the "2 Hearts" single.[2]
- "King or Queen": released as a b-side on the "2 Hearts" single.[2]
- "Fall For You [Version #1]": slated as a future B-side, and was posted on Biffco's website in November 2007.[3]
- "Excuse My French" and "When The Cat's Away": these songs leaked in March 2007.[4] Minogue's management later denied that she had recorded the songs. It is unknown if Kylie is singing on "When The Cat's Away" or if it is a session singer.
- "Lose Control", "Fall For You [Version #2]",[5] and demos of "Stars", "In My Arms" and "Sensitized" leaked in May 2007 when a 3-CDR demo disc leaked from Parlophone.[6]
- "I'm Ready": this song leaked in August 2007.[citation needed]
- "In The Mood For Love" (5:01) and "Spell of Desire" (6:21): leaked via Mylo's MySpace page before being quickly removed.[7][8]
- "Boombox": this song leaked in November 2007.[citation needed]
