Diaframma is an italian band, one of the most famous darkwave, gothic band of Florence during the early 80 togheter with Litfiba
Diaframma originated from the meeting of punk (though it was then on the decline), New Wave and simply rock music fans with then no musical background.
History
The band changed several times the members: the only stable component is the singer , guitarist and author Federico Fiumani .
To remember the first singe Nicola Vannini and the second one Miro Sassolini singer of three first and best albums of the band: Siberia , 3 Volte Lacrime and Boxe .
From the initial darkwave sound, the Diaframma are driven by Fiumani to punk rock . During the several member changes, various musicists are supported the band in studio recording and live performance: Daniele Trambusti , Alessandro Gerbi , Gianni Cerone , Alessio Riccio (drums), Simone Giuliani (keyboard/voice), Alessandro Gherardi (keyboard), Guido Melis , Riccardo "Foggy" Biliotti (bass).
