From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Come on Over Tour was the first concert tour by country-pop singer Shania Twain , conducted in support of her album Come on Over .
The tour was launched in reaction to comments by critics that Twain couldn't sing, as she never toured for her previous album, The Woman in Me . The tour proved to be a huge success, becoming the number one country tour and female tour of both 1998 and 1999, as well as top five pop tour, for both years[1] . A Dallas, Texas show was filmed and aired on TV, as well as sold on DVD as Live . Two videos were filmed from the tour: "Honey, I'm Home ", and "Come on Over ". The opening acts were Leahy and Shane Minor .
