Hazi Aslanov

Azi Aslanov (Russian Ази Асланов; January 21, 1910, LankaranJanuary 24, 1945) was an Azerbaijani tank commander during the Soviet-German war and a twice Hero of the Soviet Union. Tank brigade under his commadership run from Stalingrad through Borisovo, Vileyka, and Minsk to Vilnius and Riga.

A subway station and a street in Baku were named after him.
