List of Frisky Dingo characters
The following is a list of characters seen in the American animated television series Frisky Dingo.
Main characters
Killface
Killface (real name Evilyn) is the main character of Frisky Dingo. A muscular, maniacal super-villain, Killface is an alien with pale white skin, red eyes, a skull-like face, and feet resembling clawed hooves. Killface does not appear to be clothed, nor does he appear to possess genitalia, in spite of having a son by the name of Simon. Killface has a posh English accent and frequently uses English terminology. Killface has little regard for mankind, particularly Americans.
Killface has constructed the Annihilatrix, a device designed to propel the Earth directly into the sun. However, having spent twenty billion dollars developing the Annihilatrix, Killface has insufficient funds for a media buy with which to market his global takeover.
Killface is superhuman, claiming to bench press close to 900 kilograms (on the Mitzi and Verl Show), and is apparently very skilled at martial arts. Killface has also survived numerous wounds, most of which would incapacitate or kill a regular person.
Killface is a parody of the supervillain character archetype frequently found within superhero comic books and action cartoons—as such, for all his grandiose schemes and cultural pretensions, Killface is essentially incompetent, petulant and clueless. Killface's plans for world destruction are frequently thwarted by his cohorts and relatively trivial, insignificant concerns. He frequently segues into random (and often unnecessary) non sequiturs in attempts to relate to people or to fill an awkward pause, and often states that he is open to ideas and asks for people's candid opinions, only to immediately become petulant or violently angry if they are not the opinions he was hoping for. Despite maligning Xander Crews for his stupidity, Killface is also frequently unaware of very common pieces of knowledge: for example, he has an epiphany of sorts during the premiere episode when it dawns on him that the term "PC" stands for "personal computer." Furthermore, he has never heard of the Taliban, Steven Seagal, rental cars, the Second Amendment and, until he read the Bible in a fit of religious fervor, apparently knew nothing of Noah's Ark (even after he "skimmed" the Bible, Killface remained ill-informed on Judeo-Christian topics, such as believing Leviticus was some sort of demigod).
For all his many flaws, Killface possesses several redeeming characteristics and is frequently shown in a very human light on the show. He demonstrates a genuine interest in the lives of his underlings (such as his employee Phil's marital problems) so long as he is not angered, and is shown to be vulnerable and genuinely hurt when he is (by his perspective) betrayed. Killface also has a son, Simon; the two have a complicated and difficult relationship, but it is frequently shown that Killface genuinely loves his son and desires to be a positive and nurturing father towards him. Killface also nurses a rather shy crush on Grace Ryan, immediately becoming flustered upon meeting with her.
When the Annihilatrix moved Earth three feet from the sun, subsequently curing global warming, Killface took credit for the deed. This launched him into a full blown United States presidential campaign on the Democratic Party ticket. Because Killface was foreign born, he was later found ineligible for the presidency. As such, Killface struck his also ineligible opponent Xander Crews with Baby Lamont, killing the bird. These two events prompted Killface to return to his plot to destroy Earth, but he was thwarted when he discovered Wendell had obtained the key and spare coupling. He then united with Xander Crews to find Wendell.
In the season 2 finale, it was revealed that Killface is actually an alien sent to destroy Earth. It also revealed that his real name is Evilyn and he is supposed to wear clothes. His alien origins may also explain why he's ignorant to even the most basic human/Earth related topics.
Xander Crews / Awesome X / Barnaby Jones
Xander Crews (also known as Awesome X or "Barnaby Jones") is a superhero and owner of Crews Enterprise in Frisky Dingo. He is a parody of numerous 'playboy billionaire' superhero archetypes, most notably Iron Man and Batman. Unlike these archetypes, Crews has no moral qualms about killing. By the time of the series, Awesome X and the Xtacles had effectively eliminated the supervillain threat, ironically making superheroes unnecessary. Stan, Crews' second-in-command and head of the board of directors, quickly announced Awesome X's retirement unbeknownst to Crews.
Fulfilling the role of surrogate father, Stan wants Xander to grow up and seriously run his company, rather than relying on Stan to handle the business. Hopelessly immature, Xander prefers to play superhero and waste money on his own entertainment. Sadly, Xander has very few close relationships. Along with Stan, Grace Ryan, his girlfriend, bears the brunt of Xander's verbal and emotional abuse. Despite repeatedly interviewing Awesome X as a reporter, Ryan does not know Xander's secret identity (though it seems to be common knowledge as of Season 2) and frightens him by even mentioning taking their relationship to the next level. With Awesome X retiring, Ryan wishes to use Xander's frozen sperm (taken without his knowledge). This leads Xander to go after Killface, as a rival for him in his new action figure toy line involving Awesome X and the Xtacles.
Unlike Killface, who is shown to be human and relatable to some degree at least, Xander Crews—the superhero of the series—is shown to possess very few redeeming or even likable qualities. He is impulsive, selfish, stupid and spoiled, and constantly using the fact that his parents were murdered to emotionally manipulate those around him. (He is not, however, a cold-blooded killer like Killface.) Xander also shows signs of insensitivity to those around him, and is usually verbally abusive to others for no real reason. He also goes on annual "grey market" hunting trips, where he kills, skins, and eats mother pandas, which he calls "the most dangerous game."
Xander's relationship with Grace Ryan is particularly cold, with Xander hanging up on her mid-conversation during telephone conversations for no reason at all and cheating on her with a hooker (which he covers by donning his "Awesome X" mask and claiming to be the hero, which creates more problems for him as far as having to bribe the prostitute with the money earmarked for paying the salaries of the Xtacles, to keep her silent about his secret identity). It is implied that Grace's clingy, possessive nature regarding Xander (going so far as demanding that he freeze his sperm for her) may be the reason for why he treats her so badly.
Awesome-X maintains a team of high-tech armored soldiers, the Xtacles, and their flying base, the Xcaliber, at five million dollars a year, to help him in his endeavors. The Xtacles apparently maintain families and have generous pension plans. They are oblivious to Awesome-X's identity as Xander, and take Awesome-X's often violent abuse in good humor. He is primarily a parody of the superhero Iron Man, relying on a very similar suit of flying armour for his super abilities and using the assets of his own corporation to fund his heroic endeavours. However, unlike Iron Man/Tony Stark, whose genius and hard work took the company he inherited from his father to even greater levels of success, Xander Crews is an incompetent manager; since inheriting control of the Crews Corporation following the untimely death of his parents, he has been running the company into the ground.
During the course of season one, Xander lost control of the Crews' company and superhero identity to Stan, who tried unsuccessfully to have him pronounced dead after Xander was kidnapped by the Xtacles (who thanks to Xander in his Awesome X identity, had blamed Xander for the Xtacles being fired due to him using their salaries to pay off his hooker). Xander escaped (but not before having a blond wig glued to his head and his body marked with obscene tattoos/phrases in lipstick) and joined forces with the temporarily-blinded Killface, identifying himself as "Barnaby Jones." Though he himself was blinded too, as he helped Killface reunite with his runaway son Simon, Xander revealed his true identity, reclaimed his fortune, and denounced Killface to the media. In the course of this misadventure Xander demonstrates a rudimentary understanding of Mandarin Chinese.
After the accident on the Annihilatrix, Xander was kicked out of his mansion by Old Spice and fled the Xcalibur for decapitating an Xtacle that showed himself and the others to be human. Xander became homeless, and began running an "outreach center," (in fact simply a pile of deteriorating cardboard boxes) which sells recycled needles to hookers and cleaning used condoms and replacing them where he found them. He retrieved his check made to "CASH", but forgot about it until he was interviewed by the documentarian who was filming Killface's campaign. Xander has become determined to run for President of the United States, solely to defeat Killface for lying about ending global warming, and has gained the Republican nomination. Xander became hell-bent on getting Fred Dryer as his running mate... but Xander's woefully incompetent secretary never was able to get in touch with Dryer.
Xander was being held hostage on the Xcalibur after being captured by Sinn. He was thrown into the brig, with Ronnie as his cellmate. Working together, the two managed to escape from the Xcalibur and make their way to the Presidential debate and warn Killface of Sinn's assassination plans. When he finally got to the debate, after mistaking it for a gameshow at first, Xander learned he was two years too young to be elected President, but was still thrilled when they gave him some Haggar slacks as consolation.
At the beginning of the second part of season two, it is revealed that Xander did not become president, but that Taqu'il was elected through a corrupt Supreme Court (Stephen Breyer). Furthermore, when Killface accosted Xander by hitting him with Baby Lamont, he fractured Xander's C3 and C4 vertebrae, rendering him severely impaired. Ironically, this matches the plot of the movie Hooper almost exactly. He is physically unable to assume his alter ego of Awesome-X to stop Antagone from giving birth to his ant-baby-love-child. At the same time, he met his illegitimate teenage daughter, Jenna, for the first time. After learning that her mother (Felicity "Fat Tits" Finnegan) died from cancer, he immediately had himself checked for cancer (despite Jenna's assurance that cancer is non-contagious), and pays her $1 million to never contact him again. Meanwhile he sent Wendell to the Xcalibur to prevent Antagone from giving birth, but Wendell betrays him and flees with Antagone. Crews then unites with Killface and Simon to hunt down the traitors.
Major characters
Simon
Simon is the son or brother of Killface. He is an emotionally unstable, gangsta-rap listening, overweight, blond-haired child version of Killface that mumbles everything he says. If listened to closely, he seems to mumble the same incoherent lines such as, "When I was only seven" and "you try and live a day in my life." He enjoys eating Kap'n Krump brand cereal endorsed by his favorite rapper Taqu'il (although he often ends up smashing the bowl on the floor). It seems that he also one day wishes to purchase a hermit crab, but will not get it, since Killface says that he's becoming too much of a liability.
He is sensitive about his weight. Although he often appears to be in rebellion against his father, mostly by pushing his bowl of cereal on the floor, Simon does appear to seek Killface's approval. In the episode 'Kidnapped,' Simon manages to capture Xander and Stan entirely on his own, even though Killface had excluded him from the operation due to Simon's poor grades, which may imply he's actually smarter than his grades suggest. Simon also seems to enjoy mocking others, as he picked on Phil in the car ride to Las Vegas after Phil is beaten (off-screen) by Killface for asking too many questions. Simon's misbehavior and general poor attitude may be due to the fact that he wishes to go back to Arizona, where it is implied he and Killface had previously lived. Killface insists that they can't ever go back there due to Simon's sociopathic tendencies.
When Simon steals Xander's robot pants and takes all the knives in the house, Killface proclaims "It's Arizona all over again!" and tells Sinn to call all the pet stores in town. Simon is also seen purchasing a cage full of rabbits while wearing a bandolier of knives. The store owner remarks upon the fact that Simon is not buying any food for the animals. It is revealed that Simon appears to be the boss of a rabbit-fighting ring in Chinatown; because of this, Simon is kidnapped by a rival, but after a fight between Crews and Killface, the boss lets them all go.
In the season one finale, Simon presses the launch button that causes the activation of the Annihilatrix, after laughing like his Second Father figure, Torpedo Vegas, and muttering the word 'Boosh', a word used often by the Xtacles.
It is stated in the episode "The Miracle" that Simon is gay, and his apparent boyfriend is the LARP-playing hobbit Bobo T. Baggins, however a later episode has Simon telling his father that he lied about being gay to spoil Killface's presidential aspirations. He has also betrayed or endangered his father by selling the stolen robot pants to Valerie and giving a rocket launcher and the spare coupling for the Annihilatrix to Baggins. It also seems as if he has a particular affinity for Hannah Montana, as highly coveted 8th row tickets to her show is the only thing that stops him from murdering his father, Killface.
Stan
Stan is the head of the board of Crews Company and runs the day-to-day operations of Crews Company in Xander Crews absence...or when Xander just doesn't care enough to come to the office. Stan is one of only six people to actually know Awesome-X's secret identity (the others being his subordinate worker Watley, three role playing nerds, and a prostitute). His character often provides a voice of reason, which Xander consistently ignores, often resulting in an exasperated "Damn it!" from Stan. Stan does have a dark side, as apparently he has filled the board of directors with his own clones. He has also set up Xander's death with the Xtacles. It is also implied that Stan has multiple artificial limbs and prosthetic testicles. In one episode, he was shot in the knee, but explained that it didn't hurt because his knee was made of titanium. In the same episode, a metallic sound is made when Stan is kicked in the crotch by Simon. Stan turns on Xander by declaring Crews to be legally dead, thus making Stan the head of the company. He has also now taken the Awesome-X equipment, wanting to take the identity as his own, and now wants to steal Grace Ryan away from Xander. However, after Crews returns, he promptly humiliates Stan in revenge, making him dance at gunpoint, nearly naked, and sing. This causes him to have a heart attack. Stan goes into cardiac arrest several times, and is repeatedly brought back to life by Crews' Chinese assistant, a former slave laborer named Old Spice. Stan has since returned and became Xander's campaign manager for his presidential campaign. Since his heart attack, while Stan still grows irritated with Xander's stupidity, he has adopted a more patient and groveling demeanor around Xander, possibly to avoid a repeat of the naked dancing/torture incident. After Crews' is disqualified however, Taqu'il names Stan as his new Vice President.
The board at Crews Company consists of ten people who are all clones of Stan, the only difference being they never say anything apart from "Harrumph!" Even though they can only say that one thing, Stan is able to communicate with them. They have been seen feeding on human flesh, and posing as Arabs in order to buy the Annihilatrix.
Stan's character design is based on Matt Thompson's father.
Sinn / Hooper
Sinn is Killface's sexy female servant. She has a mechanical arm and her speech has an electronic effect, but it is unclear whether she is a robot or a cyborg. Sinn is romantically involved with Arthur, and often refers to Killface as "Sire."
When Killface fires Sinn, replacing her with Barnaby Jones (a.k.a. Xander Crews), she joins the Xtacles under the alias of Hooper. As Hooper, Sinn is elected the new leader of the Xtacles due to her attractive appearance, allowing the group to rename itself the Deceptacles. Eventually the Deceptacles discover Hooper is female, (despite this fact being blatantly obvious to all non-Xtacles) although they are accepting.
Sinn began to emulate the murderous tendencies of her former boss. She occasionally killed her underlings and wanted to murder Killface and destroy the planet herself.
Val seduced and killed Sinn in Part 2 of Season 2, in order to steal the key to the Annihilatrix.
Grace Ryan / Antagone
Grace Ryan is a television reporter who often covers Awesome-X's battles. She is a parody of the common archetype of "girl reporter/love interest" characters in superhero stories, exemplified by Lois Lane (from Superman's supporting cast) and Vicki Vale (from Batman's supporting cast). Grace considers herself to be Xander's girlfriend and desperately wants to bear his children, although Xander takes their relationship much, much less seriously and does his best to break things off with her. Grace is unaware that Xander is secretly Awesome-X.
Grace often proves to be pushy, obnoxious, clingy and self-idolizing. (To the point where even her news crew wishes for her death.) Due to this, Xander does not respect her and often acts coldly toward her, going so far as to hire a prostitute without Grace's knowledge. Despite Xander's attitude toward her, Grace remains fanatically devoted to him, even freezing some of his semen without his knowledge.
While interviewing Killface during a battle on the Annihilatrix, Grace is knocked from the machine and falls into a barrel of radioactive waste and super-intelligent radioactive ants. Grace turns pale, glows for some time, and is found to have ants in her brain. Her radioactive exposure splits her personality, creating the alter ego Antagone. Antagone has strength proportional to that of an ant, commands ants, can spit formic acid, and has substantially larger breasts than Grace. Grace attempts to fight the ant infestation by eating ant poison but eventually permanently turns into Antagone. As Antagone, she develops an extreme hatred for Xander and allies herself with the Watley, Sinn, and Val.
Grace impregnates herself with Xander's frozen semen. Doctors believe that her radioactive exposure has mutated her child, and that it will become a giant ant. While pregnant, both Wendell and Watley fall in love with Antagone. Wendell names her child Cody 2, despite her protests. Cody 2 kills and eats Antagone within minutes of his birth.
Arthur Watley / The Dread Lobster
An intern at Crews Company and inventor of the Antfarm Keyboard, Arthur Watley was Xander's initial idea for making a new villain, "The Dread Lobster," a half-man, half-lobster, and had his hands removed and replaced by giant lobster claws. At first, Watley's body began to reject the claws but he pulled through and began to change into a lobster himself. When excited, he often lays a clutch of eggs. He lived with his mother and was apparently raped on the night of his prom. He develops a romantic relationship with Sinn. By the beginning of the episode "Blind Faith" he was a complete lobster except his head. During a tearful goodbye with Sinn, he was chased into the sea. It turns out that the scientist in a van "chasing him" just wanted to show his buddy the beach. He repeatedly joked that he likes to call Las Vegas, "Lost Wages." At the end of Season 1, he is seen fighting sea creatures in his new home.
It appears that Watley had the last laugh by the end season 1. Through one episode, he had continually claimed, as a running joke, that Killface needed to establish boundaries with Simon; Xander Crews only armed the Annihilatrix because ' [his] Parents never established boundaries!'. Simon, who had also never had them established, then activated it, nearly causing the supposed End of the World.
In episode 208, it is revealed that Watley has been recruited by Antagone, and in episode 209 he has seemed to have re-kindled his relationship with Sinn, only be spurned by her in favor of Valerie. Watley then falls in love with Antagone, but he is soon beheaded by Wendell in a fit of jealousy. Afterward, his body is cooked and eaten by the Deceptacles.
Philip
Phillip (Phil) is the apparent Annihilatrix Program Manager. He is married to Lorraine, who had a baby seven months ago. Phil appears to be depressed because his wife is still fat after her pregnancy. He receives ample advice from Killface on how to deal with the matter. It is unclear whether Phil is initially loyal to Killface, or only apathetic to Killface's plans. Phil obeys Killface in whatever scheme is currently in motion, even taking initiative on his own by organizing 'Operation Bad-Habit,' which involved he and Simon sabotaging the other inventors at the inventors' convention with a rocket launcher while dressed as nuns. Yet, Phil is not above making small sarcastic comments to Killface, such as scoffing at the importance of getting Killface's furniture back. Phil is also the only one to question Killface over his plans and not be killed, even after moving into Killface's house, and at the same time filing a lawsuit against Killface. Both of these are because it was recently discovered that Phil has cancer, apparently due to working on the Annihilatrix. Phil sued Killface over this, earning the rights to the Annihilatrix and eventually beating the cancer. Phil recently sold the Annihilatrix, became a billionaire, reveals he has lost weight due to becoming immune to vitoxin, and was killed (by Valerie) all in one episode.
The Xtacles / Deceptacles
The Xtacles are Awesome-X's band of hetero-questionable mercenary super soldiers. They see Awesome-X as a cool, friendly boss and are eager to please him. On one occasion this led to them throwing him a surprise party. The surprise caused X to panic and kill several Xtacles (he thought word had gotten out that he was going to fire them). They are unaware of Awesome-X's secret identity, which led them to trouble when it was a major goal of theirs to kill Xander Crews, whom they believed to be responsible for their severe pay cut.
Several Xtacles have been named so far. Ronnie is detailed below. Zoff is thus far unimportant; Kevin was involved in a paternity suit at some point prior to the series and crafted a model of Awesome-X for a gift, which inspires Xander to start a line of toys, but Awesome-X mistakenly killed Kevin, Mike, and Fat Mike at his surprise party. Several new Xtacles were introduced in the season one finale, including "New Fat Mike", whom another Xtacle is attracted to, and Sinn, going under the name Hooper. The Xtacles do not seem to understand that Hooper is female and find it odd that they want to have sex with her. Cliff feels that he has many good ideas but that no one listens, perhaps due to his often being confused with Clint--especially by Valerie after she kills and usurps Sinn/Hooper.
The Xtacles also have the habit of repeating "BOOSH!", which is in reference to the sound their laser guns make when they kill someone, as evidenced that they often point their guns to the sky when they say it. The Xtacles are easily distracted and tricked, and often collectively gasp at surprising events. Episode 202 showed that the Xtacles are humans and not cyborgs or robots. In response to Xander's confusion on the issue, Jimbo took his helmet off and showed that they are in fact human; Xander, however, believed Jimbo to be an amazingly lifelike robot and so "tried to take him apart" (i.e. brutally killed and dismembered him with power tools), a crime he framed Ronnie for.
The Xtacles have recently come to recognize Hooper (Sinn) as their new leader in X's absence, and have renamed themselves the Deceptacles. The Deceptacles have even established their own team song, much to Xander's disgust. Some of them got work in a focus group for Killface's campaign, but due to their tendencies to follow other people's command, they created not only chaos and havoc, but lost Killface's security deposit.
These henchmen have a high mortality rate. Xander Crews has killed at least four, Stan has killed three (plus the daughter of an Xtacle), Hooper killed two, and one Xtacle killed another. Additionally, one has plummeted to his death, one was accidentally decapitated, and Ronnie was crushed by giant Haggar pants.
Ronnie
Ronnie is an Xtacle of ambiguous sexuality who speaks with a heavy Slavic accent, likely Russian. He seems to have a homoerotic fixation on Xander Crews, but also hints at a desire to meet women. When the other Xtacles are arguing over who has to guard Crews while the rest go to test his hair sample in the DNA machine, Ronnie comes running in, eagerly volunteering to guard him. The other Xtacles go down to the lab to find the DNA machine destroyed by Ronnie, though this was unknown to them at the time. Ronnie, meanwhile, has locked the door to the bridge so that there wouldn't be any "interruptions." He then tells Xander that he destroyed the machine and that he's going to glue a blonde wig to his head, known later as 'The Rape Wig', and "make love to [his] face." The next time Ronnie is seen is when the other Xtacles blow down the door to the bridge, only to find Ronnie tied up to the chair Crews was previously, with his pants missing. At the end of the season, Ronnie has yet to retrieve his pants, or replace them in any way. In season 2, taking place a year after the end of season 1, Ronnie is still not wearing pants. He and one other Xtacle also have shown in interest in having sex with New Fat Mike, saying "Yah, he gonna get it". He was also framed by Xander for the brutal death of Xtacle Jimbo by writing Ronnie's name in blood by Jimbo's outstretched finger, which Ronnie says isn't enough proof. When Xander was captured by the other Xtacles (renamed the Decepticles after Sinn/Hooper took command) he was imprisoned with Ronnie who helped him escape the Xcaliber. Ronnie's escape frustrated Sinn/Hooper's plans to destroy the world, since the Annihilatrix needed repairing, and Ronnie was the only Xtacle who owned a pair of pliers. Ronnie was apparently crushed to death by a gigantic pair of pants in episode 208.
While the now renamed Deceptacles now sport Black armour, Ronnie was shown to have kept his original maroon shielding. He died when the Giant Pants at the Haggar arena crushed his legs after saving Xander and Wendell. The Paramedic told him that after the giant pants were lifted off, he would bleed out in about 30 seconds. When asked if he wanted to spend his last 30 seconds with anyone, he took Xander's hand and replied "Only you, Eagle." Xander got out of there quickly, after which Ronnie says he wished he could have watched Hannah Montana, a reference to the dying words of Sam Neill's character in The Hunt for Red October.
Taqu'il
Taqu'il (alternatively spelled T'aquil, Ta'quil, or Taq'uil) is a world-famous rapper whose videos are, apparently, in heavy rotation. He has lent his endorsement to Kap'n Krump brand cereal (whose tagline is "Eat it, Bitch!") and Taqu'il's Fat Black Beer as well as Rubbins Raisins cereal (Now with Raisins!) during his brief love affair with NASCAR and he also stars as Jimmy in the movie "Some Like It Krump." During the first season, his most frequently-played song and video was the hit single 'All That Jizz'. His career was largely ruined after he released the album "Ballocaust," offending the Jewish community. He was Killface's Presidential running mate, helping gain votes by assuring black people that Killface will eventually be assassinated, making him President. He is frequently seen without a shirt. During the direct interview cut-aways which are interspersed throughout the series, which are set about a year in the future, Taqu'il is wearing an eyepatch, he begins to wear the eyepatch in the episode, "A Take on Hooper," which is his first appearance after "The Miracle," in which the RPG that enters Killface's chest explodes. There is never any mention about him losing the eye, but in the final episode of season two, suddenly the eyepatch mysteriously disappears before Taqu'il jumps into the mouth of Cody 2. He also, thanks to Stephen Breyer, became the new President of the United States in the wake of Killface and Xanders Crews' disqualification in the presidential race. In the season 2 finale, Ta'quil jumped into Cody 2's mouth to try and kill it with an unknown device in his hands, only to be eaten by the creature.
Valerie
Commonly referred to as Val, Valerie is rather nervous and highly-strung, possibly because Killface has a habit of gruesomely executing people right in front of her. As a result, in the early episodes she has developed a nervous habit of shrieking whenever Killface talks to her. At the end of the first episode she is forced to wear a geisha outfit and is beaten by Killface when she suggests postcards as a cheap way of communicating his message, although he eventually chooses to go with this plan. She manages to get Killface onto a morning talk show.
Val later made an appearance as the spying eyes behind a family portrait in the episode "Meet Antagone" when Killface ponders about her whereabouts aloud. Towards the end of the season, she emerges from a cell behind the painting, shedding her nervous demeanor and swearing revenge on Killface. She then purchases a sniper rifle to kill him with. However, Val has so far failed, only killing Phil, which ended up benefiting Killface greatly. She misses him again, then decides to shoot one of the nerds trying to dispose of Nearl Crews' body. She is behind the numerous assassination attempts on Killface during his presidential campaign. She seems to be a very sloppy assassin, going as far as leaving her panties behind, and hiding in a closet. She attempted to kill both Killface and Xander with a sniper rifle, albeit from point blank range, but missed. She also bought Ronnie's robot pants from Simon, which she used to escape after her failed assassination attempt. Along with Sinn and Antagone, she established the "Sisterhood of Chaos" which quickly took control of both the Decepticles and the Annihilatrix. However Valerie soon became tired of sharing power and killed Sinn (after briefly seducing her as a lesbian) and attempted to kill Antagone.
Valerie's character design is heavily based on Adult Swim Programming Director Kim Manning.[1]
Wendell T. Stamps
Claims to formerly be a member of the Department of Labor (on loan from the CIA, which neither confirms or denies Wendell's involvement) investigating Torpedo Vegas' underground rabbit fights. He later becomes part of the Secret Service and Killface's main bodyguard during his campaign for the Presidency. While conducting a drug deal to fund Killface's campaign, Wendell met Xander Crews, for whom he later volunteered to kill Grace Ryan's unborn child. However, it is later revealed to be just a ploy so that he could protect Ryan who he claimed he loved. In the meantime he stole the Annihilatrix key from Valerie and obtained the spare coupling from Bobo T. Baggins for permitting Baggins to perform oral sex on him. Following Grace's death, Wendell decides to "establish some boundaries" and take care of Ryan's child, who he names "Cody 2" (in honor of his partner at the Dept. of Labor). Wendell decides to use Cody 2 as a steed with which to take over the Annihilatrix, and take over the world. His plans were defeated after the spaceship Killface's mother was on destroyed Cody, with Wendell running away.
Wendell has a blatant fetish for Albino women despite being robbed by one who took the money he saved after "purchasing" a campaign bus (for Killface's presidential run). His "outlet"-from the stress of protecting Killface-is drinking Taquil brand 40s and pointing a gun to his head while crying about his "fallen" partner Cody, who was hit with a three-quarter (a cassette from a news camera) during a fight with the Force 10 News Crew. Wendell guns down a fallen Force 10 News crewmember "for Cody." However, Cody isn't dead and Wendell tosses him the murder weapon saying, "you're going down for this" in an obvious attempting to frame him for the shooting. It is later discovered that Cody is found guilty by the Judge (Mr. Ford) and sentenced to a term of no less than 7 years. After sentencing, Wendell inquires about using Cody's jetski and possibly his wife while he's in prison.
Wendell has a tendency to kill people in pursuit of his goals. His first killing, the Force 10 News crewmember, is mentioned above. The next known killing takes place when Wendell is sent to purchase a campaign bus for Killface. Wendell heads to Rodeo Ron's Used Bus Emporium and Notary Public (on the sign, the "L" in Public has been scratched out) with $9,000, which he's optimistic about, until he realizes the only thing he can afford is an old school bus that was hippiefied for Lollapalooza. The Lollapalooza bus triggers the flashback of an apparent acid trip during Lollapalooza. Rodeo Ron then informs him the bus he's looking at is $400K, which causes Wendell to shoot him after he's distracted by the "bent shifter" and the camera crew is distracted by "rival documentarian Michael Moore." The third killing occurs in a store with "old time soda fountain" after Wendell is beat up while taking Xander and Ronnie on the "Muffin Top Express." Xander bloodies two Crewtex tampons to stop the bleeding in Wendell's nose. After being called out to pay for the tampons, Xander remembers his tuxedo is just a shirt, Ronnie spent his money on a vanilla cone, and Wendell is "broke as a joke" from when Hooker and the albino hooker took his $9K and his chicken. The employee then threatens to call the cops, which inspires Wendell to get his "sock money" (which is actually a .38 revolver). Wendell then asks if the employee "has change for a .38" before firing all six shots, hitting him with four of them. His fourth and most recent killing occurs in the 11th espisode of the 2nd season while Antagone is in labor. Arthur is about to propose to Antagone when Wendell interrupts with a request to speak to Arthur outside. After a short argument, Wendell chops Arthur's head off with a machete, even though Antagone doesn't even remember Wendell's name, which he said was "Highschool all over again".
Wendell is also a bigot who states: "I've got to tell you I'm a racist but you have won me over." after Taqu'il slaps the dry cleaner.
Minor characters
Nearl
Nearl is a mentally disabled homeless man whose eyes Killface and Xander Crews tried to steal. He is later used as a substitute for Xander Crews by the Xtacles, who learn that he is in fact the long lost twin brother of Xander Crews, forced to live in a mental hospital by his parents, who preferred to think of him as dead. He is soon shot in the face by Ronnie the Xtacle to prevent the series from becoming any more complicated. The corpse is then found by the three nerds of the previous episode, the last two attempt to reanimate it.
Hooker
Hooker is one of Xander's recreational hires. She discovered that Xander Crews was Awesome X when he donned his Awesome X mask to hide his infidelities from his girlfriend. In exchange for her silence, Xander paid her five million dollars. She has purchased the Crews Mansion from Stan and she now lives there with her love interest, Old Spice.
Trent and Brent
Trent and Brent are twins and graduates of the USC Film School. Killface kidnapped them so they could market his global takeover. Trent and Brent meet their demise after lashing out at Killface for his lack of confidence in their work product and for the financial limitations he has placed on the marketing project. They were both murdered right in front of Valerie, who had also been abducted by Killface at the time.
Mr. Ford
An older black man seen around town, he was originally Nearl's attendant at the mental hospital. After the hospital is shut down, he is next seen running a pet shop. Later, he works the counter at a gun store. Then, he is seen as one of Torpedo Vegas' bodyguards, to which he comments "Yeah, my ass is everywhere!". His speech is fast-paced and often incomprehensible. He also harasses Val about her rear end.
He returns in the season 2 premiere as Killface's polling expert. Though his reliability can be heavily questioned, due to his technique of simply making up random numbers for said polls. Whenever he gets frustrated with Killface during a phone conference, he will just hang up on him. He has said that he gets paid more than he deserves. In a flashback to the time between seasons 1 and 2, he is seen as the judge who sent Cody (Wendell's Department of Labor partner) to prison for murder. He later is named acting Secretary of Homeland Security by Taqu'il, and then proceeds to shoot down Air Force One, and poison the Speaker of the House and President Pro Tem of the Senate in an attempt to gain the presidency himself. While Taqu'il and Stan were only saved by a hanging girder, and the strength of his Haggar suit, they are both presumed dead, and Mr Ford officially takes over the presidency. He also tells the Secret service there's an evil doppleganger of both Taqu'il and Stan, who should be shot on sight.
Darcelle Jones
The star reporter of Team Jaguar News. A two-time local Peabody Award winner, everyone loves Darcelle, including Grace Ryan's news team and her boyfriend, Xander Crews. Darcelle sometimes stoops to underhanded tactics, such as kidnapping, using a false identity, and stealing film footage from Grace Ryan. Grace Ryan repeatedly attempts to compete with Darcelle but always falls short. Darcelle is reportedly killed when Simon shoots down Xander Crews' campaign plane.
Old Spice
Old Spice is an elderly Asian man with an affinity for sword swinging. He managed to help Killface and Xander escape the sweatshop into the sewer and provided them with a supply of radishes and turnips. He was also somehow able to get both Xander and Killface replacement eyes. After the incident in China Town, Xander appointed Old Spice as his new adviser after Stan had a heart attack. He is bilingual, doesn't own a car, but seems to speak very little English. He is currently living in Xander's old mansion along with Hooker, whom he regularly has sex with.
Torpedo Vegas
A gangster who organizes underground rabbit fights in Chinatown. Near the end of the first season, he kidnapped Simon and forced him to work for his rabbit fighting ring. He has a large number of henchmen working for him.
Nerds
The nerds are three geeks obsessed with Dungeons & Dragons, Star Trek, and Live Action Role-Playing Games. They become tangled with Xander Crews when he lands on their gazebo, and later, his twin brother Nearl, when Nearl's body lands on top of them. Valerie decided to shoot one (Kevin) with a sniper rifle while they were defiling the body. The remaining two were later seen trying to bring Nearl back to life with bras on their heads (an homage to Weird Science). The nerds were seen while one of them was making a LARP video while Xander's plane crashed. One of them, Bobo T. Baggins, is responsible for the RPG attack on Killface, which he acquired from Simon when they were on a blind date. The same rocket launcher was also used by Mr. Ford to shoot down Air Force One while Bobo looked on. Bobo also received the spare coupling for the Annihilatrix from Simon and gave it to Wendell.
Dottie Bunch
Dottie Bunch is Killface's presidential campaign manager. Dottie is a heavy smoker and often spends Killface's campaign money on expensive imported vodka. She has been known to make obscene advances towards Wendell, making him uncomfortable. It was her idea to have Taqu'il be Killface's running mate. Dottie tends to cover up Killface's verbal missteps. After the near annihilation of the Killface election campaign via missile, Dottie experiences a broken arm and begins to lose her hair due to stress. Dottie berates Killface for failing to prepare for an upcoming presidential debate in Episode 207. Annoyed, Killface shoots her through the head.
Baby Lamont
Baby Lamont is a penguin that was trapped on an ice floe, becoming the poster child for global warming. After inadvertently saving the world from global warming, Killface adopts Baby Lamont as a mascot for his presidential campaign. Baby Lamont frequently chirps and will not stop until someone feeds him a fish. Killface and Taqu'il both frequently torment Lamont. When Killface learns he cannot run for the presidency, he accidentally crushes Baby Lamont to death while delivering a punch to Xander Crews in Episode 208.
Simone
Simone is a prostitute and drug addict that Xander Crews meets while living on the street after losing his fortune. She was the secretary and employee of the month at Xander's Outreach Center until he thought she was dead and put her in a dumpster. She returns in episode 25 after Wendell Stamps sells her his robot pants for a "half and half" so that he cannot be tracked on his way to the Annihilatrix. They become Simone's "kick pants" which she uses to destroy the front end of Killface's van when she sees Xander inside.
Harper Ellis
Harper Ellis is a "suspiciously handsome" pundit on the right-wing "Carter Hawkins Show". The character is based on Ellis Henican.
Cody 2
Cody 2 is a gigantic, soft-skinned white mutant as tall and wide as the Annihilatrix. At birth he was the size of an overweight child, but quickly grew exponentially into a huge monster. He is the half-human, half-ant offspring of Antagone and Xander Crews via artificial self-insemination. "His" gender is unknown; it is implied that "he" is male because Wendell names him Cody 2, after his former partner. Cody 2 is extremely intelligent and seems to understand Wendell's talking.
After birth, Cody 2's first act was to kill an exhausted Antagone by biting her head off. Wendell quickly tamed Cody 2 with a belt and began to ride Cody 2 around the Town. After several stops, Cody 2 and Wendell reached the Annihilatrix and attack several main characters there. Ta'quil, armed with some sort-of machine, jumps into Cody 2's mouth and is swallowed whole. A spaceship carrying several of Killface's species arrives. It shoots Cody 2 several times, and he dies.
